
This years Dublin Dance Festival will see performers from 11 countries grace the stage, the event's artistic director has revealed.
The festival is set to take place between April 17th and May 3rd, with
hostels and cheap hotels likely to be a hive of activity for international dance enthusiasts keen on catching a glimpse of some of the World's most renowned performers.
Artistic director Laurie Uprichard, claims that the festival will see a number of performances confronting a range of modern issues.
She said: "The Dublin Dance Festival 2008 will give local, national and international audiences the opportunity to see a great range of work from 11 countries, including several from Ireland."
The festival will feature workshops and classes as well as performances from Betontanc, Jenny Roche and the Reykjavik Dance company, as well as a handful of Ireland's best.
