A museum dedicated to 70s pop sensation Abba is to opened in Sweden in June 2009, it has been revealed.
The plans for the new museum, which is to be built in the capital Stockholm, will no doubt have fans from across the globe rushing to see the supergroup's dedication.
Organisers are hoping to attract around 500,000 visitors a year, with displays featuring a wardrobe room, a Polar Studios room and instruments and memorabilia donated by the group themselves.
Commenting on the museum when initial plans were revealed last year, the band said: "It is nice someone feels compelled to take on our musical history."
A week of festivities to commemorate the band and celebrate the museum's opening, have also been planned.
Celebrations, on stages on both land and water, will take place prior to the opening of the attraction during the week of June 3-7th 2009.
Ewa Wigenheim-Westman, a founder of ABBA the Museum, explained that she expects the whole of Sweden to join in the celebrations of the country's "national music".
