A footprint believed to belong to the mythical Yeti creature has been found in Nepal.
The Destination Truth US television show crew have discovered footprints that match descriptions of the creature in the Khumbu region of Nepal.
Josh Gates, who was part of the team who found the three footprints, seems convinced that it doesn't belong to another animal such as a bear, because it bares such close resemblance to a human foot.
It looks very unique, it looks very anthropomorphic, like a human foot but larger. It is about 13 inches long," he said.
"The first footprint is a right footprint, it's really really pristine. That's the one that generated all the excitement," Mr Gates explained.
Footprints were discovered by the team on November 28th when one of their Nepalese guides, named Tul, spotted them, reports WKRG News.
"We are going to take that print back with us to the States, have it analyzed and then if we can draw some conclusions from it, we are going to try to," he said.
Adventurous tourists hoping to capture a glimpse of the Abominable Snowman themselves can arrange excursions to the Mount Everest region of the Himalayas, where the creature allegedly lives.
