A bus has exploded in the Russian city of Togliatti in what is suspected to be a terrorist attack.
Eight people have been killed and up to 50 injured in the blast, according to reports.
The explosion, the second on a bus in Russia in a week, is suspected to have been caused by a device either fixed to the vehicle or carried on board.
Speaking on Russia's Vesti-24 news channel, Samara region governor Vladimir Artyakov said: "We are clarifying what type of explosive device was used and we are also clarifying the possibility that there could be more victims."
The explosion blew out the bus windows, ripped off the roof and shattered the windows of a nearby building.
Togliatti is on the Volga River, popular with tourists and the longest river in Europe.
Last week's other Russian bomb blast occurred in the Dagestan province.
