Harry Potter fans will be able to get over their disappointment at the series of books ending by visiting a new theme park inspired by the JK Rowling novels.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will receive a grand opening at the Universal Orlando resort in 2009, with Ms Rowling delighted with the plans.
The millionairess said: "The plans I've seen look incredibly exciting and I don't think fans of the books or films will be disappointed."
The design project is being led by Stuart Craig, an Oscar-winning production designer, who has worked on the likes of The English Patient, Notting Hill, Gandhi and the five Harry Potter films as yet produced.
Mr Craig said the theme park would thrill fans of the young wizard: "Our primary goal is to make sure this experience is an authentic extension of Harry Potter's world as it is portrayed in the books and films."
The July 21st release of seventh and final book in the multi-million-selling series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is hotly anticipated across the globe, while the fifth film adaptation, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, will open on July 13th.
