Branson scrubbed from in-flight movie
Sir Richard Branson has been scrubbed from BA's in-flight James Bond movie, Casino Royale.
The film includes a cameo from Branson in an airport scene.
BA has also applied Airbrushing to Virgin insignia on surrounding planes in the scene.
A BA spokesperson said: "We want to ensure [our films] contain no material that might upset our customers."
But Virgin Atlantic spokesman Paul Charles said he thought passengers "should see the whole film and nothing but the whole film".
Casino Royale broke worldwide box office records for a Bond movie and earned Daniel Craig a Bafta nomination for best actor.
Virgin appeared in the film because it had helped producers get a plane to Prague, according to reports.
Other screen material including Branson that BA may have to airbrush includes Goodness Gracious Me, Only Fools and Horses and the film Spiceworld.
BA and Virgin have a long history of disagreements.
Last year, Virgin Atlantic was said to have provided authorities with information that sparked an inquiry into alleged airline price-fixing scam involving BA.
