FotoGrafia
Rome, Italy -
6 April 2007 to 3 June 2007
Modern photography fans may wish to be in Rome for the FotoGrafia festival from April 6th to June 3rd.
This huge event will take place in museums and galleries throughout the city including the Ara Pacis Museum, Hadrian's Temple and Villa Borghese.
The festival will this year revolve around the theme of "The Italian Issue", which will focus on Italian contemporary photography.
In addition to the exhibitions there will be film screenings, seminars, meetings and readings as well as the European Month of Photography project.
Those wishing to submit photographic entries will be able to take advantage of the Baume & Mercier First International Award, with the winner receiving the potential for a commission.
When not viewing the photos, Rome itself is a wonderfully pretty picture in places, with the Colliseum and St Peter's Cathedral, home of the Pope, among the highlights.
