Riots hit Indonesia
Eastern Indonesia has seen mass rioting following the executions of three Christian militants.
Thousands of people have demonstrated against the executions, which took place on the island of Sulawesi, where religious tensions run high.
Shops have been looted, cars overturned and in one case, prisoners set free from a jail, as the rioters made their feelings known.
Fabianus Tibo, Marianus Riwu and Dominggus da Silva had been convicted of being behind a series of attacks on Muslims across Sulawesi and the rioting over their executions spread throughout the Indonesian islands, with violence hitting a number of islands, including on Flores Island and East Timor.
However, in the provincial capital of Palu, on the island of Sulawesi where the executions took place, the people remained calm. Over 1,000 people attended a service in the city's main Catholic church.
