Fans converge on Paris
Football fans are gathering in Paris for one of the biggest events in the sports calendar.
Tonight, the Stade de France will play host to the Champions League final as the top two teams in Europe battle it out for the ultimate prize in club football.
The two competing teams are England's Arsenal and Spanish giants Barcelona, so Paris can expect to see an influx of foreigners for the match.
The event provides a small prelude for the English and Spanish fans of the World Cup, being held in Germany this summer.
English fans have a history of trouble and have a bad reputation in Europe, but it is anticipated that this evening's events will take place without incident other than the carnival atmosphere brought by the travelling supporters.
And those travelling to the French capital over the coming days should be warned that whoever wins, the triumphant fans are likely to stay around for a few days to savour the glory and atmosphere for as long as possible!
