Liked: very nice and helpful staff, very central and yet very calm. Breakfast included: OK

Disliked: a little detail only: I had to ask the staff to retune the cable TV of my room to get the French international TV channel... Otherwise, everything OK

Liked: Good location, very nice place to eat just around the corner.

Disliked: Our room had no window.

Liked: Excellent location, yet still quiet allowing a peaceful nights rest. The main person at reception (owner?) was amazing. Great English and very helpful. Offered good advice and safety tips, arranged exactly what we were looking for without ripping us off. Had a decent breakfast. Gave us a place to keep our bags and a washroom to use even after we checked out (were taking the night train).

Disliked: Besides the main guy at the desk, no one else seemed to speak any English which could be challenging. But they were always quick to find the main guy to help us out.

Liked: Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room we got was really nice, big and clean. Good breakfast included.

Disliked: There were some problems with their wifi during our stay which was a bit annoying, but it was fixed by the time we left (although it would have been nice if it had been fixed earlier)

Liked: The staff are very kind and always greeted us with bright smiles! The room was large and the satellite tv was great.

Disliked: Well if we had stuck with the first room we were given I would have felt uncomfortable as the window looked out into the hallway, not outside. It was a double bed room so if you book it beware of that. Thankfully the staff solved our troubles by Giving us a room with two twin beds and even though we are a couple it was fine, just cuddle in one bed and separate for sleep time! In that room the window looked outside.

Liked: Chi and the ladies there were very friendly. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast is very simple (light omlette, bread, juice and coffee with bananas on table).

Disliked: The wifi did not work in our room. We were asked if we wanted an airport pickup for twice the normal price Not fantastic bag packer library

Liked: The location was GREAT! and the staff are incredible! The hotel is quaint and clean, it is a GREAT hotel for the value.

Disliked: the water pressure in our shower, not so good. The rooms are small, but still doable.

Liked: One of the workers was extremely friendly and very helpful. They made breakfast and served it to you at a dining room table, making you feel like you were part of the family. The linen was all really clean...and smelled amazing! It is located right in the backpacker neighborhood, near lots of other hostels and two blocks full of restaurants and bars.

Disliked: The other staff did not speak English and when we tried to ask them for help would just ignore us.

Liked: Cleanliness, helpfulness of the staff (they are really friendly) and location. The hotel is brand new (seems to have been fully restored lately). Free internet with a good PC.

Disliked: The room was quite small and it only had 1 window... looking to the aisle! No elevator. Beakfast can be improved.

Liked: Staff here are very friendly sand helpful, in We couldnt believe how nice the place was for the price we were paying. we went for the delux double , not much more than bugdet. which has a/c, fan, fridge, cable tv, nice beds, and very clean with towels and a decent breakfast (omlette , baguette, juice and tea coffee) the hotel can also organise you day trips to cu chi tunnels, mekong delta, cookery classes and buses all at the going rate around , with no extra charge or commission which some hostels do. we had booked 2 nights but in the end stayed 5 as we liked it so much. location also very good on the main backpacker street with all the bars, restaurants, shops and lively hustle and bustle going on. however the hotel is situated on a nice, quiet clean alley off the main road so you dont get all the noise too. very happy with stay.

Liked: The lady on reception was extremely helpfull,she arranged all our taxis and our flight. All the staff are very friendly.basic accom but good for the price!l

Disliked: Only a few dislikes,nothing major thow!You have to walk down a small horrible ally to get there ,the taxi drops you on the side of the road!an theres alot of stairs to climb if your staying in one of the cheaper rooms!! But overall its ok

Liked: Lovely staff. Really helpful when booking buses, tours and for general info. Room were a little small but very clean, fresh. Clean towels everyday and A/C. The alley way was fine, really lit up and busy. Only problem was that it was hard to find.

Disliked: Were on the top floor so lots of steps to climb. Good to have a challenge everyday and had A/C to great us in the room so not that bad.

Liked: Well located, clean rooms and friendliness of the staff.

Disliked: We initially stayed for 2 nights and overall it was pleasant. However, upon check-in we were told that we'd have to move rooms after the first night so as to accommodate some 'elderly' guests. Since there is no lift and we were on the first floor, we happily agreed. Later that evening, we decided to extend our stay for 3 nights and the receptionist said that it would be fine and to just leave our bags in the original room to be moved. The next morning after packing and clearing the room, another receptionist informed us that we do not have to move after all and unfortunately can not accommodate us a 3rd night. We explained we'd already agreed with her colleague that it was fine but to no avail. After breakfast, the same receptionist came down to say that we can change rooms now and were able stay an extra night. Obviously this was a little frustrating as we didn't know if we were coming or going! Plus there had been a break down of communication somewhere. Hopefully, the next time they will be a bit more organised.

Liked: The location of the hotel was fantastic. Walking distance to the markets and lots of local eating places. The staff were also very helpful!

Disliked: My room was on the 5th floor which meant too many stairs!
