Liked: The Bich Duyen Hotel in the backpacker area of Saigon was really a good choice to stay at. Located in alley, it was quite fro the buzzle of the streets, and the staff working there was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean, and a really good option for the price. I can only recommend staying at that hotel.

Liked: Great choice. The hostel is very well located, near everything you need! Rooms are modern, superb, cleaned everyday. Definitely deserves a star. One of the best hostels I ever been. Can't not recommend better. JMGS - Brazil

Liked: Located in quite central place, nice staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was nothing special, but at least some bread/omelets and bananas.

Disliked: Soundproof was poor (windows) - sounds of life starts to hear from the street quite early in the morning. And one must be patient to get warm water from the shower.

Liked: Staff were fantastic and really flexible. Room was immaculate.

Disliked: Try and get a room on the lower levels, trying to stumble up 5 flights of stairs after a big one can put you in a world of hurt...

Liked: The staff there were really friendly and would go the extra mile despite just the fact that they are the only one tending the reception and all the guests requests. Also able to communicate effectively and accurately. There is also an excellent pho shop right outside the hotel street, so no worries if you are reaching there on a hungry stomach.

Disliked: Nothing. But perhaps they could line up nicer lighting on the way up just to give the place an overall warmer feel.

Liked: Near amenities like restaurants, pubs, markets and shopping markets. It is walking distance to Ben Thanh Market which is just opposite the bus station, easy to access to public buses for sightseeing. The rooms are new and exceptionally clean. Staff is very helpful and welcoming, anytime you ask for advice for tour, you can be sure you get what you wanted. Manager Chanh is very friendly, cheerful and helpful. I asked many questions and he is always willing to help.

Disliked: Climbing up the stairs......

Liked: everything, was by far the nicest place i've ever stayed in going through hostelbookers (done 30+), the staff are so nice, the room is spotless, bed is incredibly comfortable, free breakfast in the morning, loved it so much will be back very soon and will definately be staying here

Liked: It was unusual clean and the staff were very very friendly. The location is great we nearly walked every where. We would for sure come back!

Liked: We had a very pleasant stay here. It was located right in the heart of the centre area within walking distance of all the main attractions but not on the main street so you don't have to deal with all the noise. The staff were so friendly, cheery and helpful. We booked a one day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels as well as a one day trip to the Mekong Delta also with them. Breakfast was a french baguette roll with eggs cooked any way you want along with orange juice and tea/coffee. Our room was very clean, and had all we needed including hot shower, tv, fridge, air--con & fan.

Disliked: The only dislike we had was that there was no elevator and we were on the fifth floor (105 steps in total to our room!!) so the stairs was not too easy to climb in the heat! If you cannot manage lots of stairs we would suggest that you request a room on a lower floor.

Liked: Well what can I say that has not already been said? From a month travelling and 8 hotels, this was definitely our favourite of them all! The staff could not do enough to help you and we tried out their restaurant recommendations which were excellent. They also organised an excursion to the Cu-Chi Tunnels for us which was fantastic value for money and very well organised. As the hotel is in the middle of District 1 there are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and it felt like a very safe place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to visit again. Thank You!
