Liked: The rooms are clean,airy, large and quiet. The staff went out of their way to accomodate ou requirements with a cheerful and friendly efficiency.

Disliked: I can honestly say their wasn't anything that i disliked about the property

Liked: Its near a lot of other hotels which meant there were a lot of other tourists around. The Hotel itself was pretty nice. The receptionist were these twins, they were very kind and very helpful and always cheerful and made us feel like we were at home. We also accidently left a large sum of money in our laundry which they kindly gave it all back.

Disliked: The bathroom/shower, we disliked getting our feet wet when ever we walked into the bathroom, Also that there was only 1 key and we had to put it in the drop box every day that we went out so the cleaners could clean our room. taking up our luggage by stairs was a pain because there was no elevator.

Liked: Breakfast was good. Proberly cooked eggs! The girls at the front desk were very friendly.

Disliked: Had to sit in the hallway for my wifi to work. Maybe it was just that room... Other then that, nothing really.

Liked: Good location, free internet, room was cleaned regularly. Nice staff. Quiet at night despite being in busy area. Staff were quite helpful and friendly.

Disliked: Wet room instead of separate shower. Breakfast only average (choice of meals but not great quality ingredients or very well cooked).

Liked: Friendly staff, breakfast

Disliked: Left my bag pack in the room when went out for Mekong tour. When returned, noticed that my bag was slightly opened and the zip was damaged. I guess someone tried to steal something (must be the cleaner coz they clean the room & changed the towel) but because i put a padlock, it was a bit hard to open and cause the zip to damage.Luckily,i didn't bring my laptop & left it in the room.Phewww...

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpful. location was very central and convenient. Breakfast was nice.

Disliked: Bathroom was a bit outdated. Wasn't a big problem for me though.

Liked: Friendly and helpfull staff of the hotel, excellent location of the hotel, nice room

Disliked: 2 different building (red sun 1 a 2). Reception is only on second one. There was only bread and jam, or eggs for breakfast(totally different from advertised breakfast on this web). Reconstruction of other hotel rooms which start early in the morning (loudness and dirt) There is necessary to take off shoes in the main doors. Hotel charwoman is cleanning room between 5 - 6 pm. Expensive trips and taxy to airport No souvenir gift (which was advartised on this web)

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice clean room. Nice breakfast. Good location, 10 min walk to Benh Than market and a couple of other sites. You can get the No. 152 bus to/from the airport which only cost 6000VND (charged me double cos had a backpack which took up a seat) from bus station opposite Benh Than market, bus was a/c and only took just over half hour so much cheaper than a taxi. When you arrive the hotel is on a back 'alley' numbered 283 on the main road, its perfectly safe and is just another road with lots of guesthouses

Disliked: The Cu Chi tunnels trip that i booked at the hotel advertised an a/c bus, but it certainly wasn't that! Trip was good other than that, suppose you get what you pay for ($5) but apprantley most other tour companies are same price and had proper a/c buses

Liked: very central location in HMC, the staff were very helpful and often went out there well to give advice and guidance on activities, eating out and general info on HCMvery hospitable throughout our stay at the hotel and breakfast was also good.Overall a very pleasant stay, and I would definately recommend to family and friends and will be staying here again when i travel in the future

Liked: We got into HCM really really late. I think it must have been like 1:30am, yet Pheobe welcomed us with brightest smiles! She gave us hugs and was so kind welcoming us into our rooms. We got upstairs and were a bit worried about the room, but the second she left us, after more hugs ;), we were doing happy dances! The room was large enough and clean. The beds were super comfortable. I don't have a single complaint. There was one moment when we caught sight of a cockroach, but i just put it outside. I would not let that effect our stay at all. In fact, we will be re-booking there on the 8th of August. I am sincerely looking forward. Pheobe and her sister and everyone else there is soooo friendly and generous. It is a slightly sketch alley, but i never felt unsafe. And the breakfast was amazingly good! And if it couldn't get better, they let us keep our stuff there all day as we did the HCM bike tour. They barely batted an eyelash when we came back soaked and getting the whole entry way covered in water. The Red Sun was amazing. I would totally recommend it to anyone who asked.

Liked: The location is perfect and strategically located to eateries, travel agencies, transport service, sidewalk eateries. Good value for the rates. To top it all, the staff are courteous, very accomodating and friendly - giving you pointers how to go about the city, the foods

Liked: The staff, Hien and twins Phoebe and Jenny are very helpful. Other staff are very courteous. The hotel is accessible and it is safe to walk around the area. I have stayed in this hotel 3 times this year. Definitely, when I go back to Ho Chi Minh, I will stay in this hotel again.

Liked: As a solo traveller, I particularly appreciated the friendly and caring staff who looked after me when I fell ill. Thanks Lien! The room size was generous for the price and great value for money. Usually this price range would net you a single bed in a windowless room, but here I was placed in a spacious double room with a window and good sized bathroom. The free breakfast is a bit ordinary (omelette and a less-than-fresh baguette), but the great location means cheap eats are only minutes away.The doors are locked at 11pm every night but someone is always on hand to let you in and she was always friendly about it, though bleary-eyed! I'd definitely recommend a stay at Red Sun.

Liked: the girls were very wonderful and helpful, and cook lunch for me for my B. irthday while staying there the staff is extra oridinary and go out of their way to be helpful and respectful to you, i would reccomend this hotel to anyone. Liked: Hien, Jenny and Phoebe are very accomodating and go out of their way to help. The room is kept clean everyday. They can be trusted and your personal things are safe inside the room. My only suggestion is to expand the menu breakfast.
