Liked: Great hotel with fantastic staff whose english is very good. Trips on offer at the hotel are very good too. Room was fantastic with a nice double bed and overall it was a room which was good enough to spend a day in if the weather is bad, which cannot be said for most other hotels and hostels in this price range!! Overall a great hotel enabling me to enjoy Hanoi to the most!

Liked: We were here for a few days and booked 2 different tours through them . When deciding on tours the staff were very helpful with our question. They went beyond our expectations in term of service even offering a room to shower and sleep in on getting back from a tour at 5.00am. The accommodation was what we wanted and the breakfast perfect too. Kelvin and his staff made our stay very memorable and fun and i would recommend Hanoi phoenix Hotel to anyone to traveling to Hanoi and upon my return. Liked: Hanoi Phoenix Hotel was probably the best choice I made during my entire trip through Vietnam. I was welcomed with the best breakfast! (The banana pancakes are just the best, make sure you do try them!) The staff Kelvin, Cathy were outstanding. If you wanna do days trip, book through them, they help with everything you ask for. The rooms are spacious and everything is nice and clean. I can just say, I loved it!

Liked: Large and clean rooms, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We even booked our Halong bay tour with them, the weather was crap but the boat was great and the hotel kept our bags while we were away.

Liked: Reasonable location in the middle of the Old Quarter and a short walk from Hoan Kiem lake. The staff are all very friendly and the included breakfast is usually good. The hotel itself is quiet despite the road-noise outside and the rooms are comfortable.

Disliked: It was quite cold on the hotel when we stayed (January) - I'm not sure they have any heating.

Liked: I booked this hotel after reading impressed comments. I was really impressed. Our room was always clean and tidy, and the lobby area has a hostel atmosphere, even if this is very definitely a hotel. Free breakfast was nice, as was free internet access. Location wonderful, loads of stuff a few minutes walk away (sights, money-changing, shops) and tours can be arranged via hotel too. Id recommend this place for anyone who is visiting Vietnam or Hanoi for the first time, everyone was really friendly and the price was good too.

Liked: This was probably the nicest hotel i stayed at in Vietnam. The rooms were spacious and everything was in good clean condition with comfortable beds and pillows. They welcome you with drinks which are always available for all day. Four computers and free internet stations were available downstairs.The breakfast was goo in too. A wide range of hot options both Western and Eastern.It's about 7minutes walk to the Lake and "touristy area", but there are places nearby which do food or serve Bear Hoi

Liked: Kelvin the in-house travel agent was fantastic with helping us organise trips to Halong Bay and Sapa as well as making recommendations for the rest of our trip further south. We could leave our suitcases at the hotel for overnight trips and shower and have breakfast even when not staying the night. The room was everything we needed, generous breakfast and staff were extremely helpful.

Liked: Good location, cheap rate with breakfast & coffee provided. That lady boss was pretty friendly, staffs there were very young & cute. Will definately choose this hostel during my next visit to Hanoi.

Liked: Super friendly hotel in a convenient location. The front desk person was especially warm and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and attractive. The service is great. Halong bay and Sapa tour booked with hotel were fantastic and well-organized. It's a wonderful hotel that I would visit again in a second!

Liked: The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. Although the room we stayed in was nothing to write home about, it was exactly what we expected for the 20-something dollars a night we paid to stay here. We booked our tour/cruise for Halong Bay through the hotel, and were very happy with the tour we took (excellent value for the money). We'd most likely stay here again if we found ourselves back in Hanoi.
