Liked: Good location (albeit insane motorbike traffic). Free breakfast (but they didnt tell us the first time we stayed so we only got one free breakfast for three nights stay). Decent wifi speed in some rooms. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The beds were hard as a rock. The internet didnt work in one of the rooms. We recieved a rude call the morning we were supposed to check out. The guy pretty much demanded we check out at or before 11:30 or we'd be charged an extra day, but check out is actually 12 noon. My biggest complaint is that they charge way too much for tour booking. We booked christina deluxe halong 2 night cruise and were charged 105 usd each. Everyone else on the tour was charged substantially less. We learned the tour actually costs 75 usd/person. We complained and got some money returned which was generous of them. But still, i suggest dont book here unless you first do all the research first.

Liked: Location is just perfect. It s few steps anywhere. The receptionist was very nice and helpfull!

Disliked: Breakfast was very poor for 1,5 dollar.

Liked: The staff was helpful. If you had any questions at any time of day or night, they could easily assist you in answering or finding the answer. They were so helpful with advising travel within Vietnam and making arrangements that were reasonable in price for a variety of travel options. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable - a great value and an amazing location . Would totally stay here again

Liked: hotel located on excellent location, i conveniently from night market, always clean, staffs attentive and intenligent in solving problem for me a flight ticket as well.Staff were helpful to help us booked Halong bay and Sapa trip with best price and best quality

Liked: they were all sort out of their effort to help me booking a tour to Halong Bay although we checked it carefully. they dared to assure everything was ok, and i was so happy with the ways they did for me. room is small but clean and nice, breakfast was ok. we would defenitely recommend this hotel for everyone

Liked: clean rooms, cable tvs, clean mattresses, access to old quarter . the hotel is a quiet place to be. very kind staff. great comfort.Best and cheap tour when we booked through hotel travel desk at this hotel

Liked: There is a good buffet breakfast there.

Disliked: The room was a bit dump, the shower and the toilet were leaking on the floor. The walls were mouldy, which was masked by covering them with a plastic wallpaper.

Liked: Very central position

Disliked: Staff was pushing a lot their guided tours, except the girl at reception who was so kind. Double room was ok but a bit dirty and with a small-pressure shower.

Liked: Good location

Disliked: We asked for some help to print a flight ticket. However because we did not want to book a 14 dollar through the hostel they were not helpful. (We could book a 10 dollar taxi ourselves or a 2 dollar shuttle bus from Quang Trung street not too far from the lake). They told us the printer was broken although 1 minute later someone else asked to priny something out and it was no problem.

Liked: Really nice people, if a little keen to sell you stuff, but an absolute bargain on the price. Fantastic, clean rooms; probably the best rooms we used in three weeks with Air con included. An absolute bargain where the young lady on the front desk was always happy to help.

Disliked: One of the computers is constantly used by a young vietnamese gentleman who spends the entire day and night gaming. It was a little frustrating having paid for facilities only to have one of the computers constantly out of action for one of the hotel staff to play games on...

Liked: location is good, near all the sights in the old quarter. the staff were friendly and helpful. the room was clean. the tour to halong bay we booked was good value.

Disliked: as soon as you have checked in all the staff want to know where you are going next and if you've booked anything yet. a little bit too much pressure. saying that, we booked a tour to halong bay at the hotel. when we asked other people on the trip we found that we paid the lowest price. also, the bus we booked from hanoi to hoi-an was pretty bad, about 6 hours late i think.

Liked: Hostel in good location for Hanoi sightseeing..close to the lake, restaurants,markets. Staff were really helpful. I booked two amazing tours to HALONG BAY and SAPA TREKKING. They offered very good tours!

Liked: Its at the heart of the Hanoi city \, We can easily walk to all the landmarks in the hanoi city.. The hotel staff is very friendly ... You can book tour package through them at a competitive price compared to other major tour agencies. This hotel real value for money.

Disliked: not very friendly, forgot to give my wake up call, spiral stairs were narrow and difficult, breakfast not very nice, could hear next door.

Liked: Availability of computers. Location. Decent sized bedroom.

Disliked: Male staff were very pushy as far as booking trips were concerned and as soon as they realised that we were coming to the end of our holiday and didn't need anymore trips - they lost interest in us. The room was noisy but this was inevitable due to the location, the traffic was very heavy. No hot water for a shower. Breakfast was adequate.
