Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff.Great facilities in the old quarters of Hanoi and location is good. Lots of nice restaurants and travel agents to choose from.Recommends New Day restaurant in 72 Ma May street with great food. Good internet connection.

Liked: Excellent location in the old town. Staff were friendly, breakfast was included. Hunted around Hanoi for a room with a street view and they are a bit hard to come by. Went for the deluxe room at the Hanoi Emerald and it was worth the extra money. Nice big window overlooking the street.

Disliked: The drains in our bathroom started to smell after a day or two. I think the staff were aware and were going to sort it out.

Liked: Deluxe rooms very clean with full set of amenities. Great location. Free wifi in the rooms.

Disliked: In-room computers as advertised on Hostelbookers and Hotel's websites do not exist anymore. Free wifi in all the rooms though.

Liked: It was my last days in Hanoi, one of my friends recommended this hotel. The location is great, hotel seems quite new and super clean. I stayed in the room # 501 with big window, city view, flat screen tv , private PC.Staff was so friendly and helpful, they are always to help and answer all your questions, I will be back next time.

Liked: excellent value for money Hotel in an ideal location in the old town. the staff are friendly and helpful without being pushy about selling day trips. They booked our overnight sleeper train to Hue and got the tickets delivered the same day. They do a day trip to Hallong bay for a very reasonable $30, which includes transport in a decent mini-bus, 4 hours on a boat and lunch. The rooms are very modern with flat screen t.v and computer and a/c. The only minor complaint is that the communal area is very small, but that tends to keep it in the nature of the old Town. They also do Airport pick-up, and still met us even though our flight was 3 hours late.

Liked: The room itself was ok, but there was a lot of mould in it which bothered us a lot. thats why we wouldnt recommend it.furthermore there was no real shower, it was just right next to the toilet.breakfast was totally overrated. but the staff was very helpful and friendly.all in all u get better hotels for the same money in Hanoi e.g. the sunshine hotel.

Liked: It was a great experience in this hotel, it is a small hotel but they have everything you need the room is nice, clean, with window even I had the private computer in my room. Very friendly staff and not pushy, they gave me a city map and suggested me where to go for meals, for shopping and visiting, Thanks.

Liked: Really friendly, helpful staff, arranged Halong Bay tour for me and train ticket (although I suspect I was overcharged for the ticket). Good room, clean, but TV not working, even though I repeatedly asked for it to be fixed. would still recommend it!

Liked: Hotel newly opened : the rooms are perfectly modern and clean, with nice attentions such as the fruit plate. You even get a computer in the 28usd rooms ! The hotel is well located in the heart of the old city, close to many restaurants, etc.Special mention for the staff (ask for Xoan, she is very professional), always smiling and helpful.You should use their airport pick-up service, since our taxi driver tried to bring us to another hotel where he gets commission (quite common in Hanoi).

Liked: I booked only one night in this hotel but I decided to stay longer (2 more nights) because of its clean, comfortable, good staff, It is a few minute walking to the lake and nearby many restaurants, shoping centers. bars...they have one travel office inside if you have any question just ask the lady who runs it, she is very professional. I would recommend this hotel for my friends.

Liked: The Ha Noi Emerald is located in my favorite part of Ha Noi Old Quarter, the room is super clean, quiet, nice decor, the staffs are really helpful and friendly. Thanks to the receptionist she is very professional ( sorry I forgot your name)I love breakfast -very tasty you can order breakfast the night before what and what time you want to have it. Overall great value for money.

Liked: stayed at the double room of the brand new hanoi emerald hotel right in the old quarter and steps from Hon khiem lake. room is amazing value for the price we paid - brand new, very large lavishly equipped bathroom , flat screen tv, large view overlooking all of the old quarter and very friendly service. the location is perfect, in the middle of everything. They also arranged a very nice luxury halong bay trip for us.I really loved it and recommend it highly .

Liked: Great value for $35USD a nightI know this hotel through my friend and base on Tripadvisor website, after discussion with my husband we decided to give this hotel a chance. And we were right, it is located in the heart of Old Quarter, the room are modern, clean ,with all the facilities you need and the breakfast is fresh and tasty.Thanks to manager, Tuan is professional ,helpful. He assisted us a lot during our stay without pushing anything and provided us with very good advices and options.We felt at home and our stay there was wonderful. Highly Recommend.

Liked: It is a new brand hotel with great location 3 minute walking to the lake and nearby many shops. The staff was wonderful they helped us to book the trip to Ha Long Bay and Sapa I really enjoyed. My room was clean, well equiped, delicious breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hanoi. It was a great value.
