Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff. Booked a trip to Cat Ba Island through them which was excellent value (after speaking to others on the trip from different hotels). Free breakfast was good, as were the free drinks all day. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Wifi connection was quick. Location was good.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: amazing staff, good breakfast, certain drinks free all day, very nice location and close to the bus station bound to the airport, so no need to take a taxi, had a balcony as well, finally hot showers in Vietnam :P

Liked: Cheap guesthouse in de middle of the tourist centre. We are 3 brothers traveling around asia for a half year. It's nice to find a cheap private room with tv and private space for a very good price!

Disliked: It's a little bit dificult to communicate with the staff.

Liked: The location and value for money was good, breakfast was good for the price.

Disliked: The cleanliness wasn't great, we had to remind the staff to change the sheets after the previous guests and the room was cold and a bit damp but is often the case in Vietnam.

Liked: staff were really helpful. Free breakfast in the morning as well as free tea/ coffee all day. Good location, right next to night market on the weekends.

Disliked: woken up by rats in the ceiling. a bit scary when your half asleep.

Liked: The guys at reception are lovely and very helpful. Free breakfast and drinks all day is a great incentive to stay!

Disliked: Pressure to book tours, transport etc but I think that is just the way of the country.

Liked: the location was good, a short walk to be in the centre of the old quarter.

Disliked: it was dirty. although we did not see any rodents, there was something scratching around in the ceiling/walls at night that woke us up. on a busy road, we were woken up very early by all the noise.

Liked: The staff here are very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in at 5.30am after arriving by sleeper bus. They booked us a 2 day tour to halong bay which we felt was very good value for money and we had the best time that we had had since being in Vietnam and probably since we started travelling 7 weeks ago! Free breakfast and free drinks all day was great and I would stay here again.

Liked: Very good location in a typical Old Quarter street, nice big room with very comfortable beds, nice shower, A/C and TV. Nice breakfast incl. as well as free drinks during the day. They organized our pickup at the railway station (but came with one motorbike only for 2 people and luggage! arranged for a second motor-bike though!!); Also booked through them a nice tour to Tam Coc and Hoa Lu, but they have many more tours available.

Disliked: Our room had a window on the road so it was rather noisy and a cock was singing every morning from 5 am but what could they do about it? Don't forget your ear-plugs!

Liked: the staff - its honest and great and very friendly, the best thing aBOUT THIS place!

Disliked: well its quite old and not extra comfy but you have to take in mind this is the chepast what you find and you get what you pay for! but if you are on budget, the staff of this place will make out for this!

Liked: Great location on the the edge of the old town in a little local street thats peaceful by night and bustling by day. In walking distance of everything. Really friendly staff, free internet, free braekfast, and free teas, coffees and lemon juice as often as you like. They also book tours from here, and they're the best around. The rooms are really nice too, all air con and en suite!

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Air con worked, friendly staff who let us keep our bags there while on a trip to Ha Long Bay. Breakfast included was pretty tasty.

Disliked: Nothing in particular, it just was average.

Liked: The location was brilliant for where the open tour bus (Sinh Tourist) dropped us off. It's also good for the market but it's at the far end of the Old Quarter so you're not really in the heart of the action. The room was big, bright and cosy.

Disliked: I didn't like that they market themselves as two separate places and charge different rates. The staff were a little bit annoying, but I think that's probably just me being mean. The doors were locked when we came back just before 11pm.

Liked: nothing.

Disliked: I would not stay here again. First night in one property and next night sent me to another place. Staff sleep in the entrance of the building arrived in the morning, no one was helpfull told me to come back later, when did all the people were trying to do was sell me tours. In the next property stayed in a room that looked like it has not been clean for a while. Next morning that was no water in the showers or tap, and left without breakfast.

Liked: Spacious room and private bathroom. Comfortable beds. Good location although Hoan Kiem Lake is more like 15min walk rather than 2min. Free breakfast very good. Female member of staff very helpful and friendly. Free drinking water.

Disliked: Room leaked in the rain and damaged our brand new guide book, poor response, didn't care in the slightest! Were moved to new room but when we came back after a 2 day tour and needed another night we were put back in original room which again leaked and had to be moved again. Young man who seemed to be in charge was very money orientated and once booked tour or bus tickets he didn't tell you anything about times etc. Came across as lazy and a bit arrogant.
