If you saw my comment previously, we got upgraded to the hotel, which was very nice step up from the hostel. Clean, good atmosphere, quiet, helpful staff.
Overview
Located in Hanoi's historic Old Quarter, the hotel is just beside Hoan Kiem Lake and very close to many Vietnamese and Western restaurants and shopping areas.
Hotel staff can arrange bus, train and air ticket bookings as well as help with advice on local sites of interest, and visa applications and extensions. Russian Jeeps, motorbikes and bicycles are available for rental by guests.
Accommodation Information
There are 18 rooms available, all ensuite, divided into double, twin and family rooms. Guests can opt for having the front side rooms, with a view over the old town, or the back side rooms, with view over the lake.
Location Information
Many options on Vietnamese and Western restaurants can be found nearby the hotel.
The Water Puppet Theatre, shopping areas and the International ANZ Bank are also in the vicinity.
