Liked: This was a strange place. The beds were really nice and comfortable with proper duvets but other things were lacking. The windows in our room didn't actually close all the way, there was no TV remote (which really isn't Donbas, but the channel up button didn't work either), the back of the bathroom door was moldy, you couldn't shut the bathroom door without nearly breaking the door jamb, and you had to hold your own shower head.

Disliked: This was a strange place. The beds were really nice and comfortable with proper duvets but other things were lacking. As a note, the World Hotel and David's Guesthouse are one and the same.

Liked: Hanoi Century Hotel is really a Charming boutique hotel smack in the heart of the old quarter of Hanoi, within walking distance to most eateries, the cathedral & shopping! Good service provided by Kim (who speaks French so a bonus for French!) & his team (thanks for upgrading us!). We couldn't get the hang of shutting the room door & had problems with the safe deposit box but Kim patiently sorted it all out! And what more could one ask for – buffet breakfast in the room or on 6th was excellent with many choice to choose from (western or local). The downsides were the bathroom door that wouldn't shut (quite inconvenient when you have 2 people in the room!) & Danny, you really need to fix a latch on the inside of the room door for more security (even though you say the hotel is safe!)! Also, shop around for tours to Hualong and Sapa (Kim 's prices are almost 20% down). Terima kasih Kim for a wonderful stay and see you real soon! Room Tip: Get a room on a higher floor so that it is a little quiet -- otherwise you hear the noise from the street below! But the balcony is wonderful for taking snaps of the street below.

Disliked: - Book trip to Halong Bay at Century Hotel with excellent value and i will depart on 2 next days. will stay here more to discover Hanoi and around.

All staffs are trained methodically and professionally who ‘s ever worked and got many years of experiences about tourism in general as well as high knowledge in hospitality in particular. With a such wonderful team, they made me very happy With many tourist attractions nearby: Hoan Kiem Lake, Vietnamese Historic Museum, Night market as well as a range of places where are suitable for your taste and hobby : Vietnamese restaurants, souvenir and clothe shops. Also, you will have a chance discover a real life of local residents as well as see a different image of Hanoi city from others “ Hanoi - City for peace”. Just taking a little time to stay here with them and i felt an amazing and unbelievable experiences never ever before, Staffs always try their best to make the best conditions for all guests staying here, Hanoi Century Hotel is really an ideal place for relax, entertainment as well as for your business. Liked: Hotel got excellent location, staffs extremely attentive,effusive and work with full of enthusiasm. I booked tour to Halong Bay with usd $109 for A CLass Cruise at shared cabin was great . I highly recommend you should book trip at hotel, staffs at lobby with show and help you anything you need. Room was very clean, fresh fruits free each day and buffet breakfast was excellent on top floor. Staffs took me to see some rooms at hotel. Rooms were absolutely brilliant. These newly refurbished guestrooms have spectacular city or sky old treet views, which can be enjoyed from the private patio, the perfect place to unwind in the sun. Rooms are light and airy with elegant furnishings, artwork and upgraded bathroom facilities. The overall effect is one of complete relaxation. An extra PC means that these rooms are ideal for up to guests surfing internet, and connecting rooms are also available. As part of the refurbishments, flat screen LCD Televisions with high-definition cable channels and personal espresso machines enhance every room to offer continuous moments of delight. I got a City View Rooms are situated in the gardens between the main hotel and my beautiful pink lights. While staying at Century Hotel, I love it when other guests show their big personality! Meeting Mr.Kim at Hotel was very exceptional and I always got many funs from the guardian to housekeepers, lightly stay and hang out for some drink was very perfect. I definitely feel this is my second home after deciding stay more 5 nights at hotel with same price. The final minor hiccup was that I arranged our train tickets to Hue through travel agency nearby but were given the wrong tickets... we paid for 1st class soft sleeper but i got the cheaper hard-sleeper from Hanoi Century Hotel. I hear this is a common scam in Vietnam so I would recommend simply going to the railway station yourself and getting the tickets. However once I emailed Mr.Kim and informed him of this he was very helpful and apologetic and he actually sent us a refund for the difference in ticket price to my hotel in Hue! I'm very happy with the way he dealt with this; very professionally. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hanoi and Ha Long Bay :) Oh the final good-point. I gave Kim, Tri, KHoan some t-shirts when checking out as he liked mine so much.... So he(Kim) secretly told the Ha Long Bay cruise company that it was perfect and they gave me the 'Ocean suite' with rose petals on the bed and in the bathroom! haha it was fantastic :)

Liked: The breakfast was bad, everything was cold. The tablecloths were dirty and they never changed them. They didn't clean the rooms, they just changed the towels. It was run by a group of young kids.The staff were ungry and unfriendly with customer.All thing were not good as some review about this hostel

Liked: room and staff not like on the good customer reviews. Room dirty and smell.Bath room was small and not cleaned.The bed too hard like rock.And staff selling us trip to Halong bay for 2days/1night.Very more expensive.We paid 105USD/pax while someone on our group tour paid only 85USd/pax.when we comeback from the trip we found other hotel,near Century hotel in 21 Bat Dan str very nice and good quality.We are think all customer shouldn't coming to Hanoi Century Hostel.We are relly fair with this Hotel.The manager have name is Mr Khoan and Mr Tri look like mafias who cheated and hitting other customer when we were came.Never comback

Liked: This hotel absolutely supplied an amazing service, lightly room with appointed window facing out busy street and so amazing in the early morning. Buffet was made on 6th with many choices for tourists and they never forget to give me some tour information around Hanoi

Disliked: book taxi with the hotel is excellent, just 16$ usd from the airport with car 4 seats

Liked: Hotel Century got an excellent location with too many attractions nearby, it easily hang out with some friend who i met at the hotel. they supplied exceptional services with beautiful room, big window, a free laptop always ready to welcome. buffet breakfast on top floor with; fried rice, stirred- noodle, bread, corn,bread,eggs,beef noodle soup, chicken noodle soup. the manager and staffs ware so friendly and effusive, they booked a day trip for me to Hanoi city tour. thank for a perfect stay and i defenitely come back if i have a chance

Liked: my vacation in Vietnam was excellent, especially at Hanoi century hotel, staffs picked me up at the airport with 15$ usd and they dont forget to ask a tour to go somewhere, they gave me a nice room, it clear and with window as well

Liked: this hotel served exceptional services, we got a very big and clean room on 6th which near the restaurant, buffet breakfast was not bad and many kind of options for all guests, also they arrange tours at the lobby , effusive staffs helped us to book taxi for shopping and eating, and made some nice trips with best value but we did not go because we had to go to south

Disliked: - we had not enough time to stay at Hanoi and sorry for leaving without booking trips to Halong bay
