Liked: Location is central

Disliked: Not clean, expensive, no ventilation (there was a fan but the room was stifling). We requested a wake up call but never got one!

Liked: Very close to everything and good value for the money.

Disliked: It's the tropics so one expects some quirks. Better facilities for meals would have been good.

Liked: Make no mistake, this isn't the flashiest hotel in Port Vila, but it is one of the cheapest and for what you pay comparatively, you get the best location - right in the heart of the city, opposite the markets. The rooms are small, and the bathrooms are old, but they are enough to get by on if you are on a budget. Staff are generally friendly - but just as friendly as everyone else in Vanuatu!

Disliked: The room wasn't cleaned in the two days I was there, the bathroom wasn't very nice, the rooms were small.

Liked: everyone was very friendly and helpful. was directly in town close to all restaurants, markets, shops and transport. great central base for planning adventures affordable allowing you to spend big on other activities.

Disliked: The Doors may require some repairing. If you do not like hard mattresses it might not be the place. both showers failed to drain water and one caused minor flooding.

Liked: the location was great. but I paid for an air conditioned room and when I arrived it had already been rented out. I was given another room and was reimbursed. but in the future it would be good if the room was kept available

Liked: + Central location, close to market and all shops+/- Value for money is ok, but only compared to the increddible expensive prices elsewhere in Port Vila+/- Generally clean (daily cleaning), but supplied glasses/cups very dirty- Really warm welcoming, friendliness, helpfulness looks different- A bit run-down, needs some maintenance, e.g. broken handles at doors, windows dirty and not shutting completely anymore

Liked: location... except try to get a room that doesn't face the main street because the sun heats up the rooms all day, making them extremely hot. Also, the street-side rooms are subject to filling up with fumes from the diesel car emmisions. Other than that, it's a clean, quiet place worth every penny.
