Liked: The price was hard to beat

Disliked: The Cats. The damn cats, you could not eat a meal without the cats harassing you and jumping on the dinner table. One morning I had made my lunch, set it on the counter to cool and within 30 seconds a cat had it upended on the floor. Great.

Liked: It is realy very peaceful with the sound of the waves at the background. For going into town you need a bemo but those bemos drive all the time and is 150 Vt.

Liked: Free Internet which is rare in Vanuatu, very clean pool, hamocks right at hte water, not too far from town 5 minutes by bus for (150 vatu), kava bar right next door ;), very quiet, beautiful view

Liked: It's a few minutes away from the ugly city, right by the sea, but only costs a fraction of what the surrounding accommodations cots. There were cooking facilities inside the dorm. Pool. Friendly owner. Free wifi. Quiet and relaxed, good spot to unwind for a few days.

Disliked: I stayed a week in the dorm and the toilets weren't cleaned a single time during that time. On the other hand I was lucky to be alone in the dorm all the time so it wasn't a disaster...

Liked: Lovely to go to sleep to the sound of the sea, nice to be out of town particulary if cruise ships are in, but close to town just a quick $1.50 bus ride (which come every 2 seconds!) , take a torch for the short but dark dirt track. Locals nearby are very friendly

Disliked: nothing it was great VFM

Liked: its a little bit far from Port Vila...but u will not get a better location in the city...u have a beach in the front...just few meters far from ur room..love it...the rooms are clean...and good for this price...i stayed in the female dorm and really enjoyed my time here ,-)

Disliked: the owners do not speak really good english and frensh

Liked: One of the cheapest places just out side of Port Vila to stay and even though it is basic it is a nice place to stay

Disliked: A little further out of town than I expected but the buses in Vila are cheap and easy to catch and go past every couple of minutes.

Disliked: a bit away from the city, so you can't stay out for too long. The buses only go until about 22..

Liked: friendly owners, great location, cheap, chilled out vibe

Disliked: lack of airconditioning or effective fans in the dorms. made it very hard to sleep. please stick a standing fan in there!

Liked: Excellent location, cheap, big rooms (try to get one facing the ocean, the breeze is very welcome) Hammocks Close to port vila but far enough if that makes sense & very easy to get to the capital.

Disliked: If this place had some tourist guides to vanuatu(a couple old moon or lonely planets even) and some info about day or overnight tours it would've been excellent.

Liked: the propert is only 5mins on a bus to town and buses in vanuatu are like taxi's anyway so its just out of town in a nice quiet spot

Liked: Directly at the seaside with hammocks to chill out. Unfortunately the tide is too strong to go for a swim but there's is nice pool on the property. A bit outside Port Vila, so it's nice and quiet and it's only a one-dollar-fifty-cab-ride into town

Liked: the place is excellent value for money, very clean, right on the beach and has kitchen in the rooms. so you can buy your own 2 minute noodles or cereal and milk from the supermarket. Very cheap for what it is. Yes it's a cheap place but i think places that cost 10 times as much are probably only a little bit better. It's a few km out of town but 150 vatu (like $1.60) gets you in to town on the van buses (look for the red B on the number plate) each day and back again and they drive past every 1 minute.

Disliked: Didn't dislike much other than being a couple of km from Port Vila, but as i said this is easily catered for the the public 'buses' that drive past every 30 secs.

Liked: The rooms were clean, the owners friendly, even when welcoming me at half past midnight, and there was free internet and a little kitchen in the dorm. Although it is a little way out of Port Vila, there seems to be a good supply of buses going along the road.

Disliked: Nothing - it was a good trip.

Liked: This place is about 10 minutes from Port Vila which is a good thing - it's isolated and authentic. We met so many locals in the area who invited us to their villages, we drank kava in a little shack near the beach, etc. Never would have had those experiences if we'd stayed in town. And it's unbelievably cheap, the pool is clean, the rooms are great value - kitchen, en suite etc. And it's beautiful waking up to the waves every morning. Easy to get to and from town, just hop on a bus and they take you straight there, AU$1.50 every time. Recommend.

Liked: I found the Blue Pango Motel to be good value for money .The rooms were basic clean with a good bed.Had hot & cold showers , not found in this price range very often.($50.00)per night for 2 people (great value)
