Liked: This is the best hostel in which I stayed in the United States. The room where I slept was very spacious, very clean and very modern, and the bathroom towels were changed every day. The room had a very nice kitchen space. This is the hostel where I will stay when I travel in Washington DC.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: I have never stayed in such a nice Hostel. The price is really cheap and the location amazing, the metro station is only about 5 minutes away and the hostel is in a very safe area. The rooms and bathrooms are really clean and shampoo, towels, breakfast included and very nice staff.

Disliked: I stayed with two of my friends and we truly liked everything about it and would definitively recommend it :) Have fun

Liked: The location is great. Very close to Dupont Circle. The place is clean and the breakfast is ok.

Disliked: My room (for 6 girls) was rather noisy (but with earplugs it was ok). The lobby/breakfast room and the place from the outside seem a bit abandoned. The staff was either not nice or nice but did not care too much about the clients.

Disliked: the worst staff i encountered in my whole life (aged 48). unpolite, unsmiling, unfriendly and even wicked with the clients ! i can only advsise these people to find another job that does not include any form of contact with clients.

Liked: There is free wifi within the room itself.. there is hot water for shower! The breakfast- bread w cheese spread is good! the place which I stayed in gallery inn 2 is really near to subway!

Liked: Rooms/beds very clean...housekeeping service almost daily. I was in the "annex"...closer to the Metro but 3 blocks from breakfast & Internet. Room had TV but difficult to work. Annex room also had kitchenette...matches need for stove; no microwave. However, 5 stars re the most important stuff...cleanliness, prime & safe DC location, and interesting hostellers.

Disliked: Top floor annex three flights up and very small room for 4; was moved at request of hostel to another room which was better but was asked to move again (which I declined); fellow travellers in original room were moved 2-3 times.

Liked: This place was not a hostel, it was a castle! Sure, there were other people in the room with me, but seriously, this place was nicer than any other hostel I've stayed in. I was in a 6-bed dorm, but there were only two other girls there the night that I was. The bathroom was en suite and again, super clean. They provide you with towels and there is shampoo/cond/soap in the shower if you don't bring your own. The beds are comfy, the breakfast is simple but good, and the location is great.

Disliked: It was pretty noisy, but that's to be expected in a city I suppose. I took advantage of their offer to leave my luggage there after I checked out...and while it was perfectly fine when I picked it up, I was worried throughout the day because they don't have a special room or anything and it just sits in the lobby near the front desk staff. Also, I was told that the front desk is not always staffed since the door is always locked and guests have a key to get in. However, since I had checked out already, I had no way of knowing if there would be someone there to let me in to get my stuff. Luckily, there was. Also, I was charged more than expected, even accounting for the 14.5% tax that they mention on HostelBookers. But I didn't mind really--still fantastic value.

Liked: It was extremely clean. Even me forgetting my flipflops was not a problem in the shower. They provide shampoo and shower jel and clean towels. we were only two in six persons female dormitory. The breakfast was more than I expected.

Disliked: There were no lockers (even though the place looked safe).

Liked: It was exactly what I was looking for; clean, quiet, modern and easy to get to.

Liked: Good location only 5 minutes walk north of Dupont Metro, and within walking distance of Shaw and Adams-Morgan. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good as well.

Disliked: Lighting in the room was very dim - almost impossible to see anything at night and certainly not enough to read by. Apart from that no real issues - everything was as expected and the description on here is fairly accurate with what to expect, in my opinion. Also no lockers in room.

Liked: Friendly staff, clean and safe. I would never expected TV in hostel shared room. Awesome breakfast..toasts, bagels, variety of jams, Philadelphia cream cheese... If I visit DC again I would definitely stay over here. The internet acces in the room. Definitely worth for price you pay!!

Disliked: The Interent acces crashed in the morning. I was in 6 dorm female room and my roommates kept overheating the room. It was hard to breath in there. They were from Middle /South America...so they are probably used to diferent weather and I know that staff couldn't have helped me with that. The AC is quite noisy.
