Directions

JFK Airport – John F. Kennedy Airport

Taxi – Suggested travel method. $45 dollar flat fee plus tolls and tip, to and from
anywhere in Manhattan. One hour trip; Caution during rush hour Monday – Friday 8 to
10am and 4 – 7pm leave at least two hours.

Public Transport – Take the Air Train $5, to the A train to NYC $2. Leave two hours
for this trip. From Hotel 309 to JFK, make sure you are on the A train that goes to
Howard Beach/JFK. We don’t suggest riding the subway in the outer boroughs at night if
you are new to New York.

LGA – LaGuardia Airport
Taxi – Suggested travel method. Taxi will use the meter, approximately $55 plus toll and
tip. One hour 15 minutes travel time. Caution during rush hour Monday – Friday 8 to
10am and 4 – 7pm leave at least two hours.

Public Transportation - The New York City subways and buses run to and from
LaGuardia for $2.00. If you have large quantities of luggage, you will find it very
difficult to manage this trip.

The easiest route is the M60 bus which picks you up at the airport and drops you off at
116th and Broadway in front of the gates of Columbia University. From here you can
take the 1,2 subway 14th Street and 7th Ave. We are one avenue away, on 8th avenue.

We don't suggest riding the subway in the outer boroughs at night if you are new to New
York.

Newark International Airport
Taxi – Suggested travel method. Taxi will use the meter, approximately $65 plus toll and
tip. One hour travel time. Caution during rush hour, Monday – Friday 8 to 10am
and 4 – 7 pm leave at least two hours.

Bus and Van Services
Newark Liberty Airport Express:
The ride from Newark costs $12.50 round-trip, or $14 one way (with discounts for kids,
the disabled, and seniors). The busses run from about 4am to 1am at the
Port Authority Bus Terminal (42nd Street between 8th Ave and 9th Ave).
