Liked: Stylish decor in communal areas, good location, free WiFi.

Liked: The best thing about this hotel is that it is beautiful and charming! Every time we came back to our room, we repeated..." I cant believe how cute this place is". It's also awesome if you want to go out to bars or clubs because most of the good ones are in the lower east side area, and this hotel is nearby. We also stayed in another hostel more central in Manhattan, but we ended up partying every night in the lower east side, so we should have just stayed in the Sohotel our whole stay. It's right next to Little Italy and China town, and the subway is really close which is good.

Liked: Just what I was looking for, a place where my girlfriend and I could sleep and take shower within NYC that had easy metro access to the entire city

Disliked: More facilities, such as food, or even a phone within the room would've been nice, but with $100 a night, I didn't set my expectations high.

Disliked: It was WAY TOO HOT in the room, even the window open (on a cold January night), and we couldn't turn the heater off.

Liked: Good location, clean room & bathroom, helpful staff.

Disliked: Our room was right by the lobby so it got a bit noisy in the mornings around 8ish. WiFi is a bit slow but useable

Liked: This is a hotel not a hostel and came with all the perks you would expect. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location is close to Subway stations, making it easy to get to midtown and uptown. Right next to Chinatown and Little Italy so lots of good food. Plenty of bars and shopping. Had a great stay.

Disliked: Room was a little small and no elevator. Very minor complaints!

Liked: Free coffee and tea in the lobby, acceptable value for the price (in comparison to hotel prices in NYC).

Disliked: Elevator out of order, therefor luggage had to be carried up the escalators, but help was offered.

Liked: Really nice hotel for the price! The staff was really helpful, the room was clean and really nice. Located near little italy and chinatown and Soho, great shops and restaurants nearby.

Disliked: We could hear everything that was going outside on the street, it looked like the window was open. I've seen mattress more comfortable

Liked: very clean, and very helpful staff

Disliked: it's more in chinatown than soho, they don't have computers guests can use (but they do have free wi-fi) and the windows are so thin you woud think you're sleeping on the street. bring great ear-plugs!!
