Liked: Charming place, nice room, well located

Disliked: It was WAY TOO HOT in the room, even the window open (on a cold January night), and we couldn't turn the heater off.

Liked: Good location, clean room & bathroom, helpful staff.

Disliked: Our room was right by the lobby so it got a bit noisy in the mornings around 8ish. WiFi is a bit slow but useable

Liked: This is a hotel not a hostel and came with all the perks you would expect. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location is close to Subway stations, making it easy to get to midtown and uptown. Right next to Chinatown and Little Italy so lots of good food. Plenty of bars and shopping. Had a great stay.

Disliked: Room was a little small and no elevator. Very minor complaints!

Liked: Free coffee and tea in the lobby, acceptable value for the price (in comparison to hotel prices in NYC).

Disliked: Elevator out of order, therefor luggage had to be carried up the escalators, but help was offered.

Liked: Really nice hotel for the price! The staff was really helpful, the room was clean and really nice. Located near little italy and chinatown and Soho, great shops and restaurants nearby.

Disliked: We could hear everything that was going outside on the street, it looked like the window was open. I've seen mattress more comfortable

Liked: very clean, and very helpful staff

Disliked: it's more in chinatown than soho, they don't have computers guests can use (but they do have free wi-fi) and the windows are so thin you woud think you're sleeping on the street. bring great ear-plugs!!

Disliked: It would have been nice to have breakfast served. I wish there was a fridge either in the lobby or in the rooms.

Liked: Firstly, the ability to share a room with three people, usually in hotels and hostels you can only share rooms with an even amount of people - this always causes issues for me. The location is amazing, you're at the border of Chinatown, Nolita, Nola, and Soho - which are, in my opinon, the best neighborhoods in NYC. Also, Greenwich village, East Village and Chelsea are just a walking distance away - which is exactly what you want if you're visiting the city. Sohotel is best if you've already been to NYC once and have already seen the sights (i.e. Times Square) and you want to really experience the city itself. Wandering around the neighborhood you find great restaurants, café's and shops. The hotel itself was really clean, the rooms were super nice, the beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. The bathroom was maybe a little bit small, but normal in NYC standards. Loved my stay there and would definitely go back.

Liked: Great, stylish character in a vibrant area of town. Anyone will enjoy their stay here. Walkable distance from excellent restaurants and bars.

Liked: i loved this place! the location was great, it was clean and safe. the room was small but it was all you need while in nyc. comfy beds nice bathrooms, small shower but no complaints. it was more than i expected. flat screen with cable in the rooms, exposed brick. super cute!!

Disliked: it was a walk up and we were on the 4th floor, but seriously i have NO compliaints, this is nyc and walks up are normal. its probably a good thing! keeps me in shape.
