Liked: More information about the public transport, taxes of the airport etc. would be helpfull. Internet is for free, very good. The stuff of the hotel was very friendly.

Liked: Fantastic place to stay, very friendy staff, especially Sylvia who was extremely helpful. Would highy recommend this place to anyone wishing for a beautiful place not too far (6 blocks) from the centre. Beach was just two streets down.

Liked: Very clean and tidy. Central location, very safe and the owner and staff were extremely friendly. It is much better than it's 2 star hotel rating. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent place to stay.

Liked: goedkoop, slechte matrassen, oude spullen waarbij je ondanks dat het ongetwijfeld schoon is, niet schoon voelt. Voor 1 nacht prima, gezien de bijzonder lage prijs, qua sfeer hebben ze het maximale er uit gehaald.Accepteren alleen visa. Tips voor activiteiten, musea overig waren matig. Dit ligt overigens meer aan Montevideo zelf

Liked: Pillows were old and smelled and the room smelled a bit moldy. The staff was nice and tried to be helpful but did not speak English so it was difficult getting information and assistance from them. Spanish speaking people were meeting up and talking. The location is pretty good -- a short walk to the main part of the old town. Internet connection worked well in the lobby.

Liked: Very nice place to stay. Friendly staff with limited English, but try very hard to communicate. Room nice, clean, with air con and TV. Excellent value for money compared to what we have paid elsewhere in Uruguay. Location is good too - easily walkable to the centre of town (about 5 mins to the main street), not far from the port. Not much street noise. Plentiful taxis from the main Tres Cruses bus station cost about 100 pesos, which is cheap enough (just over GBP3), also less than 100 pesos to most other parts of town away from the centre, such as the beaches. Overall, very good.

Liked: The hotel is right downtown Montevideo. We were there for only one night. Very clean rooms, not huge but plenty of room. Definitely felt safe. Check-out process was a bit of a pain, too much paperwork- but that goes for the entire country. We thought the hotel was great for the money. Our friends in Uruguay though told us it has a reputation for being a sweet spot for couples to meet and a spend a night :) There are oversized mirrors above beds in some rooms. But it never bothered us! The showers and beds were clean, that's all we needed for a night.

Liked: Location was great - about a 10 minute walk to the old city, and plenty of restaurants closer. The staff were great - Sylvia was so friendly and helpful and made us feel really at home there. The hotel is amazing value for money, and we would definitely recommend to other travellers on a budget.
