Liked: quite central for the port and mercado de puerto, nice rooms with en-suite but with a ´70s decor.

Liked: This hotel is full of character in an old colonial building in a good central location. I think that the front rooms may be noisier though. The rooms are old fashioned but are clean and good value for money. A very quirky, retro place to stay. No breakfast though but cant complain at low cost for a capital city.

Liked: I had a private room and to me it felt like staying in a hotel. I liked the interior classic design. And the hostel is situated quite close to downtown Montevideo. However, at night I did not like walking down the badly illuminated streets close to the hostel. But the hostel itself was good.
