Liked: Great location and very good value for money for Dubai. Actually a pretty basic hotel but the owner is very professional and very helpful. I also stayed in the Coral Oriental for 2 days (loud piped music in the corridors until 11:30 p.m. at night???) and the Pacific Hotel was much better.

Liked: It was ok for 1 night, but don't expect much service. The location is good and it's close to the airport and easy to travel to by public transport. So if you got a stopover, it's ok to stay here.

Liked: A great location for back packers. A short walk from all the souks and the water taxis across the creek and also lots of great cheap restaurants (Iranian, Indian, Ethiopian). The hostel was fine, a little bit dingy but quite friendly staff. They let us check in to our room at 5am after a night flight and made good restaurant suggestions...but 'no frills'!

Liked: located in deira, the busy old-town of dubai, this hotel is value for money, transfer from the airport is easy and quick(15mins, airport line 401), the bus arrives directly in front of the hotel. they wanted to take my passport but didn't insist to do so.
