Liked: very good location, near the bus terminal and everything, big room with good view. I could see the old wall and blue sky through the window whiling lying on my bed. We had a remarkable stay at Selcuk partly because of the Urkmez hotel.

Disliked: nothing dislike.

Liked: This hotel is great. The two brothers who run it and all the other staff are genuinely friendly, helpful and wanting to make your stay enjoyable. They have the great Turkish sense of humour. Also the breakfast room on the roof is well set up to encourage guests to talk to each other if they want too or eat quietly on their own. This hotel works. It is also good value. As others have noted there are stairs and no lift but this was fine for us.

Liked: The atmosphere is perfect, staffs are very helpful and of course with very good sense of humor. Room is very clean and the bed is very~~~~comfortable. Location is wonderful. Oh, yes, the view from their roof terrace is wonderful. I would like to come and stay again!

Liked: The overnight stay was excellent in every way - cleanliness, friendly, helpful staff, breakfast, security, quiet. We would definitely stay again.

Liked: The staff are very helpful. The single room is a good size. The breakfast was good.

Disliked: We were there in the winter and the water temperature in the shower fluctuates a lot.

Liked: The staff was incredibly friendly. Breakfast was great. I met several interesting guests and we were able to sit and enjoy the terrace area as long as we wanted with coffee and tea available.

Liked: I was really impressed by the kind service, large room, hot water, sense of security. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure that I enjoyed my stay, but they also let me have my privacy. I was offered tours and services, but nothing was forced. They were kind and helpful. I would recommend this hotel, especially to single women travelers who sometimes have a challenges in finding a quiet place without hassle. The staff was professional and I wholly enjoyed my stay.

Liked: near from the bus station, staff very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast.

Disliked: air conditioning very very noisy (winter period...). Ear plugs saved my life :)

Liked: Right in town, can't get any closer to the train station and surrounded by cafes and restaurants. The staff is friendly and treat every guests as family.

Liked: Most helpful and friendly staff I've ever stayed with. Such a good location and a really nice roof terrace!

Liked: Pasamos un poco de frio, era diciembre. Pero la habitacion estaba bien, el baño correcto y los dueños muy majetes. Lo mejor el desayuno y las vistas de la terraza donde lo servian.

Liked: The staff were fabulous - always friendly, helpful and ready for a chat. The food was plentiful and delicious. Great location - close to terrific restaurants and markets. I'd love to come back again and spend more time exploring Ephesus and the coast. And, of course, I would stay at the Urkmez - thanks for making our holiday memorable.

Liked: It just a walking distance to the St John's Church and Isa Bey Camil. And it is also near to the bus station. The hosts and the staffs are very nice and helpful.

Liked: Excellent location near to the Traın and Bus statıon. Very frıendly and helpful owners who have a wealth of ınformatıon about the area.

Disliked: No separate shower stall ın toılet

Liked: Excellent location with excellent friendly and helpful staff. We had a fantastic double room with lots of light and nice ensuite, not sure what the single rooms are like. the terrace for drinks and excellent breakfast make this a good place to stay. would stay there again for sure. nice place.

Liked: Great value for money. Great location, quite close to the bus station (but they will pick you up anyway!). I thought the breakfast was good, too. Hot water on demand. Staff was fantastic, always looking to help out and very knowledgeable.

Disliked: My room was basically windowless. It had a window but it looked out into the center of the building, just a brick wall. Hard bed, but I don't mind that.
