Liked: we liked Sandra very much, she was very friendly and very helpful. Also it is a great location, very close to the animated streets and center. A lot of commentators were complaining about having to walk up, but come on people! It is really not that bad, 5 min tops, and it is far from mountain climbing!;-))

Liked: really close to the kusadasi main bazaar, old part of town, the port & other bazaars, its in the center of the city. Sandra is very welcoming and was really helpful!

Disliked: We spent almost an hour trying to find the hotel, driving the car along narrow streets of upper Kusadasi. When we finally arrived, the owner forgot about our Hostelbookers reservation, but we didn't know that yet. We were not sure what was happening, because she was nice but in some kind of hurry. She took us to the other hotel (saying that for some reason her hotel is full), where the owner (or the manager) of that one, was supposed to take us to "the other hotel she owns", because she "needed to go somewhere". She kept saying the other hotel has a swimming pool so it is much better option for us (we stayed 1 night and didn't need it at all). We had to wait again in front of other hotel, until the other owner-manager offered us to stay at his hotel (luckily 1 room appeared for us!). He admitted she forgot about us completely, didn't keep our reservation (although we e-mailed each other few times!) and she didn't own any other hotel, but left him to "solve the problem"!

Liked: I would highly recomend the Anzac Golden Bed Pension to future travellers. A huge thank you to the Owner Sandra for her Hospitallity and assistance in booking day trips. She is an Australian born lady with 15 years of local knowledge !!! We stayed here very early in the season so there where only few other guests. The Roof top terrace however is amazing and overlooks the entire of Kusadasi (would be an amzing area to share stories and enjoy cheap drinks during peak season). The location is literally 200 metres from the main Bars and Port, better than the major hotels !! Thank you Sandra....cheers, Myles (SYD, Austraila)

Liked: It was warm and friendly. Beds very comfortable. The terrace is lovely and will come into its own in the summer... I would love to see it then as it has fantastic views and is very obviously cherished by Sandra the owner.

Liked: If you are going to Kusadasi STAY HERE!!! Sandra and her husband are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful and the property's rooftop terrace has probably the best view I have ever seen in what is a stunning Turkish resort. Room was spotless and tastefully decorated and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Anzac Golden Bed. We will be back!

Liked: Great location! Walking distance to the action but in older quieter part of town. Great owners! Very welcoming and with that personal touch. Great staff! Would do anything for you just ask. The rooms are immaculate; the beds comfortable and the rooftop terrace is a delight with fabulous views day or night. So far the best place we have stayed in during 6 weeks in Turkey

Liked: the owners and the cleanliness...the best hotel I stayed in during my two weeks in Turkey. The pictures do not lie...and Takos is the friendliest dog in the whole of Kusadasi!

Liked: I loved the top floor which has a wonderful view of Kusadsi. I felt welcomed the very first moment I walked in. Very friendly and very clean. I WANT TO GO BACK! Turkey is beautiful!

Liked: We loved everything about this hostel. They were waiting to pick us up at the port and provided so much informaiton for us which was very helpful. We were given transportation for all our needs. They were so wonderful and the hospitality was nothing but great. I highly recommennd this location. Just send out your positive energy and it will be returned.

Liked: What a friendly place! We got our dates wrong and showed up a day early, but it really wasnt a problem. The lovely owners couldnt do enough to help. After the prices of Europe and the UK, for the money, this was way more than we expected. The roof top terace with the amazing views made for delicous late afternoon drinks.
