Liked: Clean comfy hotel, friendly staff, ideal location, 24hr reception. Like another reviewer I was roomed over the road in their other hotel for the first night due to overbooking (happens when hotels are listed on several booking sites). The first hotel was good, and the next day I was given a large suite overlooking the main drag outside. Room very large with sofa, table and chairs, balcony, double and single beds, spa bath, power-shower, bidet. Very clean and serviced daily. There's a restaurant downstairs that serves pretty good food - the staff are friendly too - and as it's part of the hotel you get 15% discount as a guest. Breakfast when I stayed is in the restaurant on the ground floor which is clean and warm, with a lovely lady serving she was very helpful and friendly - see photo. During the hotter months breakfast is served on a higher level terrace with views of the see, and also the Blue Mosque. Location - can't be beat - out out of hotel reception, turn left and then first right and you are at the Blue Mosque in 2 minutes, turn right from reception, go to then end of the road and follow left and you are at the Ayasofya. All the main sights are here and within 5 mins walk - Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Museum, Ayasofya, etc, and the Grand Bazaar is just a further 5 mins walk. I never visited the Spice (Egyptian) Market as it was closed the day I had planned due to the local elections. All the various tours (Monuments, Bosphorus Cruise) can be booked and paid via reception, as can airport transfers or shuttle. Area is quite busy and touristy, but that's fine - it has all you need and if you want to go further afield for an evening meal you can safely do that. I would definitely recommend to friends and will be returning - hopefully a bit later in the year - I still have to go the the Egyptian Market!

Disliked: Nothing.
