Liked: nothing

Disliked: This hotel had the rudest manager I have ever met. If you want to be treated with any semblance of respect or kindness, avoid this place.

Liked: Free breakfast, which is offered in every single Istanbul hotel anyway. Friendly and helpful staff, apart from the owner/ general manager who is one the most arrogant people we have come across.

Disliked: Terrible. The hotel was overbooked and so we were taken to a new one nearby. It was clearly not finished. 1) No water (could not use shower, toilet or simply wash our hands) 2) No air con (outside temperature was above 35 degrees at night!) 3) No TV (it was on the floor, not connected) 4) We were asked to pay more money then advertised on hostelbookers.com 5) Sleazy and arrogant owner. Non of the facilities advertised were available. After an absolute night of hell we spend there, he has demanded full price, which was above hostelbookers.com price. There were another 8 people of so in the hotel that were forced to evacuate their rooms as they were all substandard. People walked up and down the steps all night long.
