Liked: We had a lovely stay at Istanbul Hollyday Hotel with my husband. The room was good enough for the price, the staff were extremelly friendly and helpfulness. Everything it's just around the corner. Just perfect!!!

Disliked: Maybe the breakfast could be better.

Liked: Very well situated within easy walking distance of the main attractions. Friendly and helpful staff with clean and well air-conditioned rooms

Disliked: More variety at breakfast time would have made the stay more ideal e.g. fresh fruit juices, pastries, scrambled egg, fruit. Bathrooms/shower area in single rooms small and cramped for room and insufficient clothes storage space.

Liked: The location was very good, on the backside of the Blue Mosque so it's off the main road and the noise. Topkapi Place is just straight ahead. I stayed in a single private room for 4 nights; the room (double bed) & ensuite bath were small but very convenient; The hotel was quite, clean, room service is included; the breakfast was standard; the staff were very friendly and helpful, not pushy and didn’t try to sell me overpriced tours. I went there by recommendation and I also recommend it to everybody.

Liked: Very friendly staff and good value for money. Yes, the rooms are small and the bathroom wasn't the newest, but this is a very good 3 star hotel. Its clean, there is free wifi in the rooms, the location is central, the air con works well and actually, we were never woken up by a call to prayer, so the windows must be well insulated!

Liked: Excellent value for money, and excellent location, everythıng you could want from a hotel, but at hostel prıces. Very good breakast

Disliked: Obvıously as a hotel not a place to meet people.

Liked: Great little hostel and close to all the main attractions. Staff were really friendly and the room was cosy and clean. The walls were quite thin as others have mentioned...not great if you don't wantt to hear the couple next door until the early hours of the morning! Apart from that i really enjoyed my stay here.

Disliked: The thin walls but it didn't ruin my stay.

Liked: hotel with excellent location and good service .... nice price, but it has the charm and fun of the hostels.

Liked: Our room was nice and clean. And the price is also good. We truthfully enjoyed our staying at the hotel. We would recommend it for others.

Disliked: There was nothing bad in the hotel. It was one of the best I have ever seen for such price.

Liked: Nice rooms (large and nicely decorated), located really close to the Blue Mosque, the people at reception where always really nice and helpful. A good 3* hotel !

Disliked: Free Wifi but no computer for use. Nice for families or couples but not a place to meet people.

Liked: This hotel is placed right in the heart of Istanbul.

Disliked: The rooms were rather small. The staff were unfriendly, and they miscalculated the exchange rates.

Disliked: Could hear sounds from other rooms. There was a window, but only we saw external parts of air conditionings.

Liked: The hotel was very clean and i liked the breakfast! The aircondition was extremely important because it was so hot during our stay! Really nice hotel and i'd stay there again if i'd travel to Istanbul again!

Liked: The location is really good. Relative to Taksim area, Sultanahmet is dominated by tourists and is much safer. It is also closer to most tourist attractions and you really get to enjoy the actual historical atmosphere. The place is clean and has all basic facilities, including air conditioning, clean linen, refrigerator and TV and cable - do not expect the receptionists to know too much, however. Guides available in hostel not good.

Disliked: Rooms are small.

Liked: We made our reservation by hostel bookers and save a lot of money on the price they were showing in their price list.

Disliked: We don't really dislike, but the room was really small, I mean the only space left beside the bed was the hallway of the door to put our backpack, I mean the bed was the walking cross section to get out of the room of get in and go to the bathroom..however it was great!
