Liked: The rooftop terrace is absolutely divine, with a view of the water and comfy seating. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The location is great. Our room was spacious, well-furnished, air-conditioned, and even had a view of the sea.

Disliked: Gross bathroom. The shower drain was so clogged that you had to use it at half-strength, turn it on and off between needing the water, AND still keep your shower to five minutes or so to avoid over flowing the shower stall. However, in a way, this was almost okay since you really couldn't stand to be in the bathroom for more than five minutes at a time before the toxic raw sewer stench coming from a floor drain would overwhelm you. The hotel staff was indifferent and unapologetic. Stolen toiletries. Next, we came back to the room one night to find our belongings rearranged around the room. Weird, off-putting, a little creepy... but at first everything seemed to be there. Except that our toiletries were gone from the bathroom. The next day they managed to find one of the toothbrushes and the toothpaste somewhere (?). The hotel staff was indifferent and unapologetic. Late airport service. Last but not least, we booked the hotel's private car to the airport because the shuttle would get us there later than we wanted to arrive. Anyway, the car was 25 minutes late and actually picked us up after the shuttle got people from a neighboring hotel. Again, the hotel staff was indifferent and unapologetic.

Liked: Very comfy and spacious room, at the back of the hotel which made it lovely and quiet. Good breakfast on the roof terrace. Friendly and helpful staff who took a real interest in our stay and gave lots of tips and advice.

Disliked: Only downside was the instant coffee at breakfast! The directions to get to the hotel were slightly confusing as they said they were opposite Oceans 7 restaurant but the building there is boarded up and it did make my blood pressure rise for a minute until we walked past and spotted it on the left. It might be worth putting in the directions that it is just past Oceans 7 restaurant rather than opposite it.

Liked: Awesome location, great value, good breakfast, clean, and we even got help with our bags up the stairs!

Disliked: The cats outside were hilarious but noisy.

Liked: I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff at this hotel and the location was perfect to get around to see everything almost by foot. Very clean and comfortable rooms and right in the heart of the city. I would definately recommend it.

Liked: This is a lovely boutique hostel in a superb location for visiting the major sites. The rooms are large, well-decorated and clean. From the front rooms there is a view across the sea of Marmara. It would not be suitable for people with mobility problems.

Liked: The location is very good. Joma , the receptionist is very good to us. Aysha and Ehmet are also wonderful. We would like to thank Aysha for doing a wonderful job making us coffee and tea in the morning. We also like to thank Ehmet for the superb service. The breakfast is very good and healthy. The owner is very helpful and friendly too. My husband and I stayed in this place for 16 days. Breakfast is served on the top floor and there is a nice view. We will come back again.

Liked: We really enjoyed this hotel! It has a very good location (2streets far from Topkapi or Aya Sofya) and a friendly staff. I think we were in the best room with a beautiful view to the see :) There is a fantastic panorama from the breakfast room which is at the top of the hotel. Its very clean and the building itself is pretty new. The rooms are clean and there is a free wifi available in the hotel.

Liked: very helpful people,pleasant,clean rooms & bathrooms however the stairs were steep, narrow & circular & if you had a lot of luggage difficult to negotiate,we were on top floor with 4 flights of stairs.But all inall a very nice place to stay.

Liked: We thought this was in an excellent location, the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the accommodation was super clean. When cheking out in the morning, we were not travelling on until evening; staff volunteered to store our bags and offered us use of shower and bathroom facilities in an unoccupied room. They could not have been more helpful. Would DEFINATELY return!!!
