Liked: Good location, helpful staff. Affordable price.

Disliked: The smell of cigarette smoke. It stays in the carpets even if nobody is smoking. Especially bad on a wet day.

Liked: the room are very simple but nice. the shower and the room were clean, and the staff was always willing to help. Don't expect too much of this place, it is very simple but i think that all that it has is more than enough. it is very well located (walking distance from Eminonu).

Disliked: The room decoration maybe...

Liked: GREAT location, clean, friendly staff, nice rooms, Turkish buffet breakfast. 100% recommended.

Disliked: No shower curtain, so the entire toilet is the shower. But this happens in most accommodations in Turkey.

Liked: Very close to a lot of sites, but still cheap. Tram and ferries are also very close. Rich breakfast, helpful staff. A very good choice if you are looking for a basic accommodation.

Disliked: There was no waste bin in my room.

Liked: Excellent location! Topkapi, Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque ,Hippodrome, Gulhane Park are at walking distance. Very close to Metro station, Eminonu Ferry Boat Station and Local Bus Stand. Saff is nice and helpful.

Disliked: Noise from the pub outside is annoying at night.

Liked: The location was very good.Very close to most of the historical places,shopping and restaurants.Also 100 m away from sirkeci tram stop.I suggest it to all travellers intending to visit Istanbul.

Liked: Airconditioning, relatively cheap, clean, great Turkish breakfast included, friendly management.

Disliked: Restaurants in area are expensive and not all that great but that's just Sultanhamet

Liked: This place is great for a cheap, clean, central room with good aircon. Don't expect quaint niceties or anything that resembles luxury, but do expect safety and value.

Disliked: John Cleese wasn't there.

Liked: All you can eat turkish breakfast (and tea/coffee). room was clean and spacious with excellent (free) aircon. staff are always friendly. great location for exploring bazaars, sophia, blue mosque etc, all walking distance. cheap food over the road.

Disliked: internet only in lobby (with no aircon). no shower curtain but bathroom was designed this way so no big hassle.

Liked: Walking distance to most of the historical sites. very quite regardless the hotel is next to the tramp. Excellent free breakfast. Good value for the money.

Liked: We had to catch an early plane so the location was ideal for the ferry and bus. We left too early to have breakfast but had good value nice meals one minute walk away the rest of the time. The rooms were comfortable and ensuite.

Liked: We had a twin bed double room and it was quite dirty. The bathroom was a disaster.Good location.

Liked: Very basic, but clean sheets, hot running water - OK value for money. But don't forget earplugs: there's a bar on the other side of the street with all it's talkative smokers standing outside during nighttime, and the tram is just beneath the windows.
