Liked: The location is superb, near to tramway and ferryboat station, bazaar, restaurants and kebap stalls. Breakfast is great, Turkish style. No internet though, but plenty of internet cafes around. Great for anyone not looking to spend much of their holiday in the hotel room!

Liked: We like Sultan Otel in Istanbul especialy because is located at Eminönü, which is very good start location for visiting a lot of famous places which you can see in Istanbul. Also is very close to boat port.

Liked: it was a nice place to stay. For this price (one of the cheapest we found in Istanbul), this is obviously a basic service so don't expect a luxuary place but people were very firendly and reliable.I recommand !

Liked: Very highly recommend this place to fellow travellers - really friendly staff (not fluent in English, but made an effort to understand and help where possible). Excellent location for Spice Market, Sirkeci waterfront, Sultanahmet area, etc. Basic breakfast until 10 am and 24 hr reception were great too. Look for the brochure for Istanbul Walks and try their evening walk too!
