Deniz Houses

Deniz House, "The Sea Mansion", located in central Sultanahmet in a residential neighbourhood offering good value for money accommodation services for couples, families and single females. All rooms are private with bathroom, 24 hours hot shower, central heating, air-condition, cable TV, wireless internet, minibar and free bed linen. Deniz Houses consists of 2 buildings located in the quiet and central part of Sultanahmet within walking distance to the city's major highlights. The buildings are 20 meters away from each other and both contain private ensuite rooms with same type of facilities. Some rooms look over The Sea of Marmara and the others over a nice and quite street.

Deniz Houses run by a reliable travel group owing also Backpackers Travel, Sultan's Inn Hotel, Naz Wooden House Inn and Efendi Apartment. You will be hosted by an experianced and courteous staff at Deniz Houses willing to make you feel as you are at home. The reception clerk are friendly and speak English&German with extensive information about the city to give you good tips. You can also book airport transfer, daily tours, dinner or Turkish bath through the reception.

Bed&Linen provided for free and all rooms are cleaned everyday without extra cost. Bathrooms are specious with cabin shower and complimentary soap, shampoo, slippers, towels and hair-dryer provided. Cleanliness and comfort are among the basic standarts at Deniz Houses and followed up by all the staff. The rooms are designed with equailty of 3 star hotel quality riched with Turkish hospitality.

Open buffet breakfast served at the viewed terrace. Breakfast including fresh and delecious food&bavarage such as Boiled egg, potatoes with cheese, sausage, chocolate glazed cake, fruit cake, cheese rolls, bagel, whole-wheat bread, white bread, cherry jam, raspberry jam, strawberry jam, honey, yoghurt, cucumber, tomatoes, seasonal fruits; (apple, watermelon, mandarin etc.), dried apricots, currants, corn flakes, green olive, black olive, black olive with sauce, salami, feta cheese, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, butter, filter coffee, black tea, herbal tea, fruit tea, powder orange and cherry juice, biscuit. In addition to the breakfast, we offer complimentary snacks and soft&hot drinks everyday at our terrace between 16.00-18.00.

Accommodation Information

There are 27 rooms of various sizes. Some rooms have sea-view and 2 rooms on the ground floor havel terrace. All rooms have large windows opening to fresh air and sunlight. They are orange colour decorated over a parquet (hardwood) flooring. Single, double, twin room (2 single beds), triple (3 beds) or family room (for 4 people) available.
All the rooms have individually controlled air-conditioning, double glazed windows, central heating, mini bar, hair dryer, LCD TV, wardrobe, make up table and telephone by your bed side.

Please be advised that our place is a tourist hotel and we are not able to guest the locals even though they are accompanied by a foreign citizen unless they have a marriage certificate.
In case we receive such a reservation, we will not be able to honor it and related responsibilities will not be accepted.

Location Information

Deniz House located in Kucukayasofya district of Sultanahmet. The highlights of Istanbul found in this area with walking distance from eachother ; those are Hagia Sophia Museum, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cictern, Turkish&islamic Arts Museum, Hagia Irine Church, Istanbul Archeology Museum, Istanbul Mosaics Museum and Roman Hippodrome. The area is fabulous for visitors and it is one the top destinations in the world. The modern tram line runs in this area through Divan Yolu Street on the upside towards Grand Bazaar and on the down side towards Sirkeci area and the ferry ports.
