Liked: The hotel is not on the main street where all the bars are, so it's nice and quiet, and very relaxing. It's just two blocks behind the main square area on a shady street with very pretty flora. The price for the room was GREAT because there's a pool, AC, a fridge, and a 'real' shower with hot water. There's also a breakfast buffet on the rooftop enclosed terrace (with AC!) The two brothers who own the place speak excellent English, and are super friendly! Burak took time to talk about diving with me, and so I decided to extend my stay to six days instead of three, and do a diving course and get my certification (which is about 700 TL for SSI). He also helped me figure out the best way to get to Selcuk because I am a solo traveler with a heavy backpack, and not doing the usual 'touristy tour' thing--just going on my own. He took time to make several calls to figure it out for me. ;-) You can get here in about three minutes from the local 'Dolmus' or bus or the Water-Dolmus. The 'bar street'--where one goes to eat, drink, and shop, is also only two minutes walk around the corner. It's about a 20 minute ride by boat or bus to Iztuzu beach, which is beautiful. If you take the boat, then you'll cruise by Kaunos, the Lycian ruins--definitely visit the actual site. If and when I come back to Turkey, I'm definitely coming back to Dalyan and will most likely stay again at this quaint hotel.

Disliked: Nothing--it was a really great place to stay!
