Disliked: The temperature in Bodrum in August is 30-40 deg. The Air Conditioner was inadequate to deal with the heat when it worked. The air conditioner IN OUR ROOM ceased working at 2am and thus no sleep was had from that point on. The manager tried to tell us that the electricity supply to the hotel was faulty and that it was not the fault of the hotel. This was not the case (and could be described as a lie) as all other electrical services in our room were in working order but the other rooms did not have a problem with their air conditioner (we checked with ther clients). We worked out in the morning when the pool filter turned on the air-conditioner turned off the circuit breaker on their power board because of an electrical fault we assume. The breakfast consisted of two pieces of a tomato, slice of cheese a few olives and a slice of watermelon with bread an extremely poor turkish breakfast. The sheets which were on our bed were single sheets on a double bed which meant we ended up sleeping on the bare mattress. I resent having to pay full price for a service which was not delivered. This is not honouring a contract. The hotel should have reduced the tariff or at the very least apologised. In short the worst hotel we have stayed in while travelling through 20 countries. This comment will be posted on tripadvisor at our earliest convenience.

Liked: One of the best value for money I have seen. Only problem is allowing smoking.If you want a hearty breakfast go downtown.

Liked: With the pool and bar I am sure this place would be really fun in the high season. Off season it's quiet (like many parts of Turkey) and cold. Fortunately they have good heating and the owner was kind to come and pick us up at the bus station.

Liked: Enjoyed staying in this hostel. Rooms are a good size and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful.We liked the fact that it was close to the harbour, yet far enough away for a peacful nights sleep. We would recommend this hostel to anyone who is looking for a couple of days visiting Bodrum.

Liked: Even tough we arrived very early in the morning by bus , we were still shown to our room by a very sleepy staff member and made to feel welcome at once .. it was not a problem and we got a few hours sleep before attacking the beautiful port of Bodrum
