Blue Sea Garden is a family-run hotel with a beautiful garden in the "Kaleiçi", the old town of Antalya. From our garden with orange-, lemon-, mandarin-, olive and gingertrees, you have a great view to the sea (just 100 meters) and to the Taurus Mountains. The Karaagolan Park is on the left and when you walk a bit to the right, you can step down to the old harbour. Two beaches are very close and you can also swim in our pool in the garden, where we serve delicious food from the day to the night. Read more

About Hotel Blue Sea Garden

Blue Sea Garden staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. You may come and go as you like, staff is available 24 hours a day to provide any needed assistance. We are confident that you will be pleased with the safe, comfortable and truly relaxing environment that you will find here. There are beautiful views from our roof and from our large sun terrace and even turtles love our peaceful "paradise" garden. Wireless Internet service is provided free of charge to our guests. Breakfast is included and is served buffet-style with a selection of fruit, yogurt, bread, butter, jams and spreads, cheeses, olives, salami, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, juice, coffee and tea. Our restaurant provides a large variety of typical Turkish dishes, all ingredients are local and fresh. We offer tours to the most important sites of Turkey's south such as Perge, Side and Aspendos, known for having the best-preserved theatre of antiquity, to Demre (Myra, famous because of St. Nikolaus and its rock-cut tombs) and to the sunken city of Kekova, to the Kursunlu Waterfall, to Olympos, Pamukkale, Cappadocia, Fethiye, Termessos.... We also offer a "rent a car" service for individual trips and tours. But of course you will also enjoy your time in Antalya, it's archaeological museum, the pretty harbour, where you can start a boat trip to the pirate caves and visit Phaselis, the ancient Lycian city, and you can sunbath and swim at the famous beaches of Lara and Konyaalti. Antalya is shielded from the cold northerly winds by the Taurus Mountain range, having a characteristically Mediterreanean climate with hot and dry summers and mild and rainy winters. Around 300 days of the year are sunny, the air temperature can climb as high as 40 °C in July and August, however the typical air temperature ranges between the low-to-mid 30 °C . There are sea breezes and northeasterly winds which have a cooling affect. Antalya has over 3000 hours of sunlight per year.

Location Information

Blue Sea Garden hotel is located in "Kaleiçi", the oldest, most beautiful and most interesting part of Antalya, with easy access to the city’s tram-line and local buses as well as taxis. "Kaleiçi" means "in the fort/castle". With its narrow cobbled streets of historic Turkish ans Greek houses, the old (car free) center of Antalya provides now mainly hotels, gift shops, and bars. Typical are the ottoman houses with their projecting balconies. High walls of natural stone and carefully landscaped gardens ensure shadow also in the hot summer days. A stroll through the twisty alleys is very impressive and fascinating, especially in the nights. The restored historical citycenter retains much of its historical character; its restoration won the Golden Apple Tourism Prize. The city includes sites with traces of Lycian, Pamphylian and Hellenistic - but mainly Roman, Byzantime, Seljuk and Ottoman - architecture and cultures. You should walk also through the "Hadrian's Gate", which formerly spanned the main road to Perge. The gate has three passages and was built by the tenants in 130 AC to celebrate the visit of the roman emperor Hadrian to "Attaleia".
Blue Sea Garden hotel is located in the quiet "Hesapci Sokak" with restaurants, carpet and souvenir shops and art galleries. The bars with Turkish life music are around the corner, the main shopping streets are close. Cumhuriyet Square, the main square of the city, on occasion features temporary open air exhibitions and performances.
