Big, clean and awesome room for the price. Free wifi Internet. Breakfast is basic ... but it's free and I won't complain. Friendly staff but with limited english.

Overview

Ideally situated in the heart of the Sukhothai City's commercial district on Singhawat Road, this cozy, homey hotel offers easy access to anywhere that you would need to visit, while only 15 minutes to the Sukhothai Historical Park.

The front of the hotel faces Singhawat Road where hospitals, banks, shops and 24/7 food stall center are minutes away. The fresh market is also only a 10-minute walk along this road. The back of the hotel faces the Yom River where you can take pictures of Buddhist monks walking along the river with their bowls and receiving food in the morning. The road at the back lies side by side along the Yom River. For just a 10-minute walk, this road takes you to Phra Mae Yah Shrine, the sacred place respected by all Sukhothai people and believed to realize your prayers.

Sawasdipong Hotel is also surrounded by restaurants offering Thai, American and Chinese food that will allow you to enjoy Sukhothai without worrying where to dine and what to eat.
