Liked: We had the wrong dates booked and the staff helped us get a room with their sister hotel down the road which was even better than Karon Living Room.

Liked: The rooms were huge, very spacious. The built in bath tub with mountain view was very nice. The staff didn't speak much English but they tried to help whenever.

Disliked: Only two computers for all the gusts to use but they were free so cant complain much. The walk to the beach was a bit far. About 10-15 minutes.

Liked: Everything. Equal to the best we have stayed in during 4 months of travel. The distance to the beach mentioned by some reviewers is not a problem in our opinion but is far enough away to be quiet and close enough to enjoy the beach and the walk to it.

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: The rooms are very big. The hotel is quite near all facilities. The beach was 10 minutes away, what is not too far away in my opinion. At night it's quiet, it's not too near to the bars and discotheques.

Disliked: We didn't get the room we booked. We booked a double, but got a twin. The beds were put together, but we could really feel the line while sleeping. They promised we could switch the next day, which didn't happen. The internet wasn't working, the staff couldn't help us with this.

Liked: Free daily fresh towels (including beach towels). Very clean and big rooms! Free safe in the room. Very friendly staff.

Liked: Almost everything are good, but a little bit far from the beach. Anyway, it does not matter if you like to excerise and do not mind to walk. I would recommend this place because it is very clean and very cheap price. They provide almost everything, TV, air condition and internet. It is also quite convenient to go to Phuket town because it is located on the city bus route. Just across the street (in front of this hotel), you can take the bus to Phuket town.

Liked: The experience of staying here was really good , a good 10 minute walk to the beach but the pluses outweighed the negatives, well located to a good market 300 metres down the road, restaurants, convience stores etc. A big rap for their honesty as I left an IPOD and they contacted me and sent it back to Australia...thanks guys.

Liked: Clean nice place a little far out but quiet because of that. Hostel arranged an airport taxi for us which didnt show bit of a nuisance.

Liked: The rooms are huuuuuge and furnished nicely. Unfortunately we had very many ants in our room. They have been everywhere - on the floor, on the walls, on the tables, in the bathroom... We reportet that to the staff and they immediately send two charwomen who sprayed some poison in our room then. Not very convenient and this was the only thing they have done against it because in the next few days we again had more and more ants.Everyday we got 2 bottles of water for free into our minibar, which was a nice gesture for me. You can also get "coffee" (it's nescafe...) and tea for free, but nevertheless it's not worth to take the breakfast they offer in this hotel.From our room we could see the ocean. Unfortunately you have to walk a long street until you get to the beach nevertheless, but it is still ok.
