Liked: The probably best place I stayed in Thailand! Huge rooms, maid service, nice helpful and really caring host and of course the training possibilities in the dojo are a big plus. It's not directly at the beach, but a 400m walk solves that problem and you can also easy and cheap rent a scooter from the host whom you can fully trust. Thumps up!
Disliked: Robert left no negative feedback.

Liked: Owners were lovely and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. Offered transport to and from the airport. Room was clean spacious. Dojo on top floor.
Disliked: This is not the place for meeting other travelers and partying; its more for chilling out. Quite far from anything, so motorcycle rental is essential (only 150 baht per day). Staff were difficult to get hold of at times.

Liked: Rooms were fantastic - very clean, very large and very comfortable. Staff were fantastic, and made us feel welcome.
Disliked: There is not much martial arts training at the moment, so don't go expecting lots of classes. There is a gym, though - which is great.

Liked: Stayed at this property for 5 nights, the rooms are hugh and spottless with hot shower. There is also a gym you can use, we did Kung Fu every morning which was free of charge. Also staff where extremley helpful. It is a very peaceful place to stay!
Disliked: The only bad comment about this property is the location. Its slightly out of the way and up a hill. But you can rent bikes from the hostel for 3 pound a day so its not really a problem.

Liked: the rooms are excellent- we had swans made out of towels on our beds. it is set in a very nice thai garden and extremely peaceful! the women who runs it is fantastic and let us use the kitchen. there is also the do jo (gym) available to use for free and some lessons if there is some one about to teach.
Disliked: location is not as good as other places however mopeds are easy to rent and it is still in walking distance of local amenities, and some beautiful waterfalls are nearby.

Liked: Samui Dojo was a great way to spend a relaxing week on Samui. It's about 3 km away from Lamai Beach, so alternative transport (they rent scooters here) is ideal. It doesn't have a restaurant but there are few around that are quite good. The rooms have a fridge which make it handy for grocery shopping. I enjoyed all the wonderful books that Geoff has on display. If you have time, definitely try his karate class. Even if you have never done it, it is still lots of fun and a good learning experience. Overall I found that this place was great value and a hidden gem on Samui.
