Liked: Good swimming pool, loved the garden with chickens, loads of gecko's and the butterflies. Friendly staff and lovely bathroom!

Disliked: The cleanliness of our room @ the day of arrival. Big black hairs in sink and on the floor. Rooms of the superior room were just big enough for 2 people.

Liked: Gorgeous resort with great staff who make your stay very enjoyable. Good food (free breakfast), nice pool and massages to die for! Free Wifi and reception organised an amazing tour which was highlight of our trip...well worth a stay here!

Disliked: As we went at low season it was very quiet and did not have all ingredients in the kitchen so not everything available but what they did have made up for it.

Liked: we LOVED this place - didn't want to leave! this is a hotel at very cheap prices. we had the cutest, lovliest little hut with a very cool open-air bathroom. gorgeous pool area and RIGHT on the beach. lovely restaurant with very good food. would 100% go back.

Disliked: nothing!!

Liked: The rooms at Hutch were really nice, and in the beginning of December we were almost the only ones staying at the resort.

Disliked: The 'River view' outside our room was of a mosquito infested swamp! There really was no difference between the most expensive rooms and the budget rooms.

Liked: Hutcha is out of the way of the really touristy spots in Koh Samui, which is great if you want to take some time to have a relax by the pool (with some cocktails) followed by an afternoon massage. Also, we were really lucky because the night we arrived just up the road from the hotel was a massive street market that spanned across two big streets filled with amazing Thai food, cheap cocktails (only 50 Baht) and fun and friendly locals. At the end of the night one of the owners of the cocktail stalls told us that we could hula hoop for free cocktails - we managed to get three free cocktails and had a fantastic time doing it!!!

Disliked: We stayed in the most expensive room, which is the Riverside Villa and although our room was massive, the bathroom smelt like a wet dog and it wasn't the cleanest place we stayed.

Liked: It is lovely, really nice rooms even if they are a bit small, but worth it. Great location, if you are thee on a thursday make sure you head out to the Market on the street for 50 baht cocktails (among other things!) Lovely pool. The big rooms (50AU) are really really nice, about 3 times three size of the smaller ones and I would recommend that room type if you want a romantic getaway! Worth the extra cost. Lovely helpful staff.

Liked: Good location, just at the beach, nice pool, good restaurant, motobike rent service, taxi service, helpfull staff.

Disliked: Maybe the rooms are too small and the bed takes a lot of space in a tiny room. Be ready to meet a lot of mosquitos there, especially in the bathroom which is quite open.

Liked: The resort is very nice, well kept and the staff are all willing to help with any request. We stayed to relax before the fool moon party on Ko Phangian. You can easily take a speed boat over and back so you get the best of both worlds really. The resort is literally on the beach which is clean and also isn't busy so between the pool and the beach we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anybody.

Liked: The Hutcha resort is perfectly located at the beach and it was totally clean! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and you can book all the important things to do and transportation at the reception counter.
