Liked: Angus and Hom are great hosts and make u feel really welcome! The food is great and well priced and the pool and shuttle service were excellent! I would definately stay here again.

Liked: friendly, helpfull staff, not cheap but still verygood value for money, food excellent and cheap, swimming pool small but very clean and never crowded. room a good size, but could do with more furniture, ie there were no chairs! A good start to our holidays!

Liked: close to the beach and restaurants, owner helps you to rent a car at a very low price, helps you plan your trips, gives you tips about everything pool is very clean and deep and you are allowed to swim till late all rooms have terrace faceing a very nice yard with palm-trees price is very good compared to other hotels

Liked: Very clean tidy rooms and pool, value for money. Very helpful and accommodating owner/manager. We stayed for 5 night and hired a scooter through the resort (very cheaply) which made it easy to get around anywhere we needed. The location was very close to get to many of the tourist attractions. Even though the resort was not walkable to Lamai beach there is a free shuttle from the owner all throughout the day. We got picked up from the ferry and dropped off for free at our next destination, don't see that much effort from other places we have stayed. Very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend to anyone coming here.

Disliked: There is nothing to dislike about this place or the owners.

Liked: The couple who run this beautiful resort are so friendly, helpful and made our three night stay delightful. The rooms were spacious, clean and the pool was divine. An ideal get away for friends or couples alike.

Liked: it's located on a hill with a nice view. If don't want to live in a town center and have a quiet and relaxed stay this place is for you.

Liked: Absolutely everything! The owners were very easy to talk to and more than helpful. They showed us the sights to go and see around the island, places to eat and drink and things to do while on Koh Samui. They have scooters, both manual and automatic, on the premises that you can rent for 150 Baht per day. There's free wifi internet all over the resort which is very nice. The rooms are absolutely huge and perfectly clean. Hot water showers, cable TV with more than 30 channels, english and not, swimming pool that's open late and fantastic. This is one of the places you look at online and it's actually what's shown online.

Liked: A wonderful clean spacious room and bathroom with fridge, TV, DVD players, films to borrow. Food all day including great breakfasts and a tasty Massam curry. Angus and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The pool is clean and a nice size, we had it to ourselves most of the time. Free transport to and from the beach until 9pm and good advcie on places to eat etc. Also we were picked up from the ferry port and dropped off which was a HUGE help and a real sign of quality.

Disliked: The resort is a 10 minute drive from the beach and although the resort offer free transport there and back all day until 9pm it may not be everybody's cup of tea. Taxi's are a bit expensive at night to get back.

Liked: Angus, his wife and the entire staff at the resort were awesome. We really felt like one of the family. The food was amazing ( felt like Thai home cooking) an the view was awesome. We totally recommend this place to everyone :). It's quiet but still walkable to Lamai beach (20 min walk) or Agnus/Hom will drop you off. The facility was also very clean and they helped us plan lots of activities.

Liked: Excellent value - pool is really great - really clean - friendly helpful staff - wifi everywhere which is great.

Disliked: It didn't bother us but it is out of town, angus and hom will run you into town thought which was very nice of them.

Liked: Angus and his Wife who run the resort are so helpful and are fantastic hosts. My friends and I had a fantastic time - the food was lovely too.

Liked: The staff are incredibly helpful, you get free lifts into the nearest town, Lamai, which is fantastic, but when you want to just chill out by the pool the actual resort is nice and chilled out. Also everything goes on the tab tpo pay at the end so no constant faffing with 20BT here and there every time you want a sprite!

Disliked: It may be too quiet for some. We were a large group so made out own atmosphere / noise(!) but others travelling alone or wanting to meet others may find it a bit secluded. Otherwise it was great, did exactly what it said on the tin. Not flashy, but great value for money, very comfortable, and unbelieveably friendly.

Liked: We liked everything. Angus, his wife Hom and the staff are fantastic as is the food. The room was a good size and always clean. The pool was fabulous and clean, that's where we spent much of our time. Angus has several hundred DVDs for guests and there are DVD players in the rooms which is a nice bonus

Disliked: Nothing really. It is a 5 minute drive into town and the beach but the hotel offers a shuttle into town anytime you want and will supply you with a cellphone to call them for pick-up and a ride back

Liked: Very helpful staff. The location of the hostel is up in the mountains so its lovely for a chilled couple of days. The staff offer a free shuttle service into the nearest town which is so handy and great for evenings too (up until 9pm). Free wifi/internet, dvd, tv and mini bar- it felt like we were in more like a hotel rather than a hostel and brilliant value!! Food was delicious and reasonable value for its location. Pool was great too!

Disliked: A little far out but the shuttle service helped alot!

Liked: Angus and his wife are absolutely lovely and were always around to help us out. The free taxi service into and out of Lamai is fantastic (They even give you a mobile phone for arranging pick ups - only before 9pm). The location was perfect for us as we needed a nice relaxing place to chill out after full moon. Food is great and the pool is nice too.

Disliked: Nothing.
