Liked: Great place to stayl! Angus the owner drops you into town and will pick you up again before 9pm. So helpful and very knowledgable! Our room got upgraded free of charge also! Pool a lovely size and nice and warm too! Will defo be coming back!!! :) :)

Liked: This place is a gem on Koh Samui. The beach is around 10 minutes stroll away , through beautiful greenery, with amazing flowers and butterflies (and the odd water buffalo) all around. The neighbourhood is quiet and 'local', not at all touristy, We loved walking down to the local market via the beach, picking up shells on the way, and to the colourful Muslim fishing village, where there are few tourists. However, If bars, nightlife and clubs are your thing, then a 30 minute stroll (or ten minute taxi ride) to the left when you hit the sand will find you on Lamai beach, with it's beach bars, music venues and shops. We liked it in the early evening when the tourists faded away and the local families came out to swim and play on the sand.Angus and the crew at Samui Reef are great. The place is relaxed and friendly and very well run. They can fix up anything; bike or jeep hire, bus and ferry crossings, day trips. Angus knows the island well and is a mine of information. The accommodation is immaculate, complte with stocked fridge, TV, air con, constant hot water and great food. The pool is wonderful at the end of a hot day of beachcombing and the grounds are beautiful.This place is amazing value for money. Highly recommended........unless of course you are looking for hedonism and all night partying......which you wont find here..........just perfect peace.

Liked: An awesome place, the best place in Samui maybe. Angus and the staff are really helpful and will do anything for you. They will organise everything you need from their end so it makes life easier. The food is awesome and so are the rooms. It's pretty much a really great, chilled out place to unwind and relax. We stayed and extra 3 nights we liked it so much - you must try it!!!

Liked: The staff were absolutely fantasic and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The atmosphere was laid back. Overall, it was a joy to stay - and i'd certainly recommend the Samui Reef View Resort to other travellers.

Liked: We had an amazing time at Samui Reef View Resort and ended up staying twice as long as we first intended! Angus and his family are wonderful and cannot do enough to help you. The rooms are spacious and resort really clean. It may be a little out of the way of actual Lamai resort but is only a 5 min ride in a taxi to Lamai centre/ beach and Angus also runs a shuttle service which was great! Definately the best place we have stayed in and we will be back.

Liked: The staff were friendly, efficient and very welcoming goin above and beyond what was expected making it a fun and comfortable time spent in koh samui. I would reccomend the resort to anyone.

Liked: The location is a little out of town. This is okay if you have your own transport but a little harder if you plan to walk it. A taxi cost 200B from town (more in the evening).

Liked: Awesome place to stay! Really great owners, good food, good beer, lovely pool and the rooms are great (loved the selction of DVD's). If you want to chill out for a few days this is the place to go!

Liked: This was more of a hotel, excellent service, very clean, big rooms, comfortable, great place to relax, lovely for friends, couples and single travellers. Angus and team were great hosts and would go back again! Thanks Angus and team!

Liked: Owner was great, we arrived without any money so without question he was able to feed us, book a tour for us, let us stay and then on our last night drove us to an atm, he also arranged our transport from the island. couldnt have been more helpful. the hotel itself was spotless, great food and a really nice pool!! if im ever back in koh samui i know where im staying!!

Liked: The staff here were very friendly and couldn't do enough to accommodate you. It's about half an hour's walk to Lamai but there are taxi's available (although be prepared to barter!). A lovely, relaxing place with great food and a fantastic pool - I'd definetly come back.
