Kala Resort

The Kala Samui is a small boutique resort ideally located in a secluded and private Chaweng Noi in Koh Samui Island. The resort is best suitable for honeymooners and couples who are looking for privacy and also appreciates our environmental friendly concept. The Kala offers daily free-of-charge shuttle to Chaweng beach (approximately 10mins) and to Lamai Beach (approximately 5mins).

The Kala Samui has an infinity pool overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Thai gulf surrounded by existing vegetation of natural trees. Also, one of the Kala’s highlight is the “deck on the rocks” that sits over the tropical waters overlooking the ocean, offering a very spacious area where you can lay down under the umbrella, just a few meters away from the ocean while listening to the sounds of the lapping waves onto the natural rock formations.

Unlike other hotels, at The Kala, you can enjoy our special concept of an all day breakfast with unlimited “a la carte” menu anytime from 6.30 a.m. until 10.30 p.m. for the last breakfast order, and yes, we mean 10.30 at night. This special concept is inspired so that our guest can have all the time to themselves while they are on holiday and there is no need to wake up before 10.30 am just to make it for breakfast like they do in other hotels.

At The Kala, we offer variety of in-house activities can be enjoyed from water sports, Thai cooking classes and our privately designed trips that are best suitable for honeymooners or simply couples who just wish to get away from it all.

The busy nightlife, shopping and bars of Chaweng or Lamai are both 5 mins away by drive. Daily shuttle services to both towns are available free of charge at the hotel with a fix schedule.

Accommodation Information

The Kala has 38 all sea view rooms and villas. Deluxe Rooms and Duplex Pool Villas are available in single, double/twin and triple. While the deluxe suite has 2 bedroom (1 king and 1 single) suitable for family travelling with adult children. The Presidential Villa comes with 2 bedroom villa (1 king and 1 queen); it also features a large private pool, an exotic outdoor bath and private outdoor massage room.
Bed sheets and linen are provided and all rooms come with safety deposit boxes, separate bath and showers, air-conditioning units, complimentary coffee and tea making facilities and mini-bar.
