Liked: Room was nice, lovely big wardrobe, nice wooden furniture. With balcony.

Disliked: The description said a short 150m walk from the pier, it is really about 500m up a bad path and building site.

Disliked: none of the doors or windows closed properly so the cockroaches can walk under the doors nice and easy, the mozzy get into the room with no problems, there was a hole in the floor boards, bedding had holes and stains and tv went off when raining, maybe not all rooms are the same? there is a litter of about 8 kittens that try and get into your room given any opportunity. the location isnt the best either, to get to the property you have to walk between sewage works on your left handside and a scrapyard/dump on your right. it absolutely stinks and of a night its hard to see what your walking through! staff are friendly enough and you get free wifi, water and a hot shower.

Liked: Cool hotel - felt like a log cabin. Great balcony which is always good! Quite close to the main area of phi phi - about a 10 min walk but theres no cars or anything so its an easy walk! We were collected from the port and he pushed our luggage back to hotel and showed us the way which was really nice! Also, you have to pay an entrance fee to phi phi (i think 20 baht) so make sure you have it! And there are no cars or tuk tuks on the island which is quite cool!

Liked: Very well furnished room & entire 'resort' also great. Comfortable. Clean. Quiet. Definitely reccommended! Would've loved to stay longer. Great for young couples. Relatively close to the beach. Lovely view. Once in the room everything is great.

Disliked: The staff were nice, but barely spoke English. Construction sites and rubbish on the way to the hostel and at night the walk is dark and unlit. Not so pleasant. No common room.

Liked: Was a nice place but the room was small and average, a bit far out not a bad place the staff were friendly but not worth 800thb per night.

Liked: It was a really nice place to stay, close to all the shops, restaurants, beach etc. Bathroom was a bit small, but good value considering the price. Stayed in low season so it was very quiet. Staff were really nice :) Would stay again

Liked: on arrival to the Island we had to wait 45 minutes to be taken to the hotel only to find out that they actually had no room for us altho it had been booked 1month earlier. We had to wait over 4 hours and walked all over the island. Its January so everywhere was full also. Horrible experience, and they didnt want to give my deposit back. If you book here just be careful, even tho they comfirm it may mean nothing. Very unhelpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liked: really nice room with balcony which was a treat! aircon was good as was free wifi.very easy access to tonsai village and loh dalum bay (which is the main beach, ton sai bay is only a pier). everything is about 5-10 minutes walk away.yes you do have to walk past a sewage plant to get there, but this is true of most of the budget accommodation as it is all in the same direction. It is a mild annoyance at best, and you can't smell or see it from the hotel. a sign in the room clearly states that you must request that your room is cleaned (good on them, environmentally friendly and all that), and once requested it was cleaned that day.We ended up booking 3 extra nights as we liked Phi Phi so much, I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Liked: I really enjoyed how clean and nice the rooms were. The security on the island and in the hostel is fantastic. The hostel is a bit removed from the noise and bustle "downtown" so it made it nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend it.

Liked: The hotel was in a quiet location and the staff were friendly and helpful when you could find them. the reception was very rarely open which was not very helpful for questions and bookings etc, the room's linen and towels were all dirty and the door was not very secure at all. good size room but bed was uncomfortable and no maid. was adequate for our stay though.

Liked: This hostel is in the worst location of any hostel I've ever stayed at. It is right beside a stinking waste treatment plant which smells awful every time you walk past it to the hostel. To get to the guesthouse you must walk down this long, dark, dirty, unlit alley, adjacent to the waste plant, which smells terrible. Not only that but the noise coming from the waste plant at night is loud and unpleasant. To add to this, the owners speak next to no English. There was a woman who spoke very very little, but the man who owned the place had no idea what we were talking about, but still pretended to, which turned out to be very frustrating! Example: Our curtain rail fell down in the middle of the night (!) and in the morning on our way out for the day, we explained it to him and asked him to fix it and he smiled and nodded, 'OK no problem no problem, OK OK', and then we got back and nothing had been done. It would have been alright if he had made it clear he didn't understand us but it was so frustrating to see him nod and grin as if he knew what we were saying! A very very poor hostel, and the worst I've stayed in during my time in SouthEast Asia. The rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable, but the APALLING location and useless staff really hurt this place's score.
