Liked: The staff were lovely, friendly, and welcoming. Great sellection of food on offer both Thai and Foreign at a good price. The staff have good contacts in the community and are happy to help with any questions or queries you may have. The hotel is in a quiet location,but within the old city walls, and you can walk to all the main old city attractions.

Liked: Place had lots of character, felt like staying above a country pub in England! Although above a bar, it was always quiet. Great location - on a quieter street but not far to walk to the bars, markets etc. Staff were really friendly!

Disliked: poor location. we saw loads and loads of cockroaches on the third day we were there. shower was pretty crappy. not very good a/c. staff was not very helpful.

Liked: The property was great... not pleased that hostel bookers only offered me the most expensive room when they had available much cheaper rooms. Hotel was great - hostel bookers, not so much. In addition to jamming me into the most expensive room hostel bookers forced me to select 2 guests, I couldn't book a room for 1 even though I was by myself.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Great location, very close to the Chang Puak Gate. Pub downstairs makes nice food but a little expensive compared to local restaurants, many of which are within an easy walk. The room is very quiet despite being above a pub, we were never bothered by noise. Close to morning markets and Sunday evening Walking Street. Three Kings Monument just down the road. Large shopping mall about 10 mins walk away. Coin laundry less than 5 mins walk away. Room is cleaned every day with bed linen and towels changed daily. Great room with very comfortable bed and nice hot shower. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room was great. We booked for four days and stayed for a month! Would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike really. The TV in the room didn't work too well but we weren't bothered as we were out exploring and didn't spend much time in the room anyway.

Liked: Our stay was great the location was ideal in the north of the old city, and downstairs there is a pub/restaurant with a free pool table and live music every night. The rooms are great, importantly the beds are very comfortable and the rooms had good air conditioning, tvs, dvd players, fridge and a good bathroom with actual hot water. The staff were good to us in looking after some of our valuables whilst we went to Pai and went trekking.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and introduced us to the city and helped us organize ourselves. They helped us figure out getting to Doi Suthep and had good recommendations on places to visit and eat.

Disliked: The bar/restaurant downstairs is a bit overpriced, but nothing that's too bad, but of course the food is much cheaper if you leave and explore the city a bit more.

Liked: Very clean and lovely rooms for price. Location is good too but make sure you write down the address or take a copy of the map cos nobody seems to know how to find this place. Guess that makes it a hidden gem. We stayed here to go to the elephant nature park which is also well worth going to.

Liked: This is one of the great place I've been, it's very clean and safe, staff is very friendly, it's well located to go to the sunday market or for the doi suthep bus. It's a little far from the tourist center, so you're not submerged with westerners, but still at a walking distance of almost everything. The rooms are really nice, it's really a cheap bargain for the pricing. Cool Pub ambiance.

Liked: We had a great stay here, we were pretty over backpackers at this point in our travels!! The room was clean and comfortable and the food in the pub is also good. We found staff to be very helpful and friendly.

Liked: Average small hotel. Location not too bad.not too bad. \very close to Chiang Mai's MASSIVE sunday nite market, a must see. No complaints from us. NOT a backpacker place. Not sure if they had promotion for HostelBookers.They charged us rack rates till I insisted they check online for our booking, all sweet after that.

Liked: A little away from the centre of things but this meant we got a good night's sleep which was a bonus :) staff were great and helpful. WARNING! We caught a bus to Bangkok through TAT office on the corner of the road to Queen Vic. We paid higher price on promise of VIP 30 seater bus and were totally ripped off - BEWARE - check with two or three travel agents before booking!!!!

Liked: This was a lovely hotel to stay. I would definately stay there again if I was to return to Thailand. The staff were very helpful with tours and transport. You must try the club sandwich
