Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, the owner is a great host being a Swiss nation he really has taken very well over the business in the past 2 months. Location was inside the old city, close to all the main temples and the Saturday/Sunday Walking streets. Food was great and it had a Pub on the ground floor where you can listen to great music and have a couple of drinks in a very nice atmosphere! But almost no noise heard in the bedrooms and at 11pm it closes!! Just Perfect!!

Liked: This place is a real find, the rooms are huge, well priced and have more facilities than you usually see for this price although the bathroom is a little cramped. The thick concrete floors and walls blocks out any sounds from the pub downstairs, so you get a good sleep. Speaking of the pub, the food here is terrific! Not just authentic western but actually *good*... on the downside it is more expensive than the more basic places in Thailand, but the portions are generous and tasty. The staff here are terrific, friendly and cheerful and they clean your room daily. We loved our stay here and for the price I doubt there were any better options in Chiang Mai... The only real downside is that the tours and courses they book are not the cheapest in town so shop around if you want the best deal.

Liked: The staff and proprietors go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Most helpful and willing to arrange trips and give advice. Rooms large and airy with good facilities. The food in the Restaurant is first class and the portions nice and large. Within walking distance of the main Old City Gate and other attractions. We had an excellent stay.

Liked: Very nice English pub, good food, Friendly and helpful staff. Nice room with small balcony. Free Internet in the pub or free WIFI in the room if you use your own laptop. Though the connection in my room (# 5) was not really good causing disconnections every now and then.

Liked: Staff were so incredibly helpful. We asked them to book a cooking class for us at 11pm and they had it done for the next morning and came up to our room to wake us up. Owner is very friendly and wanted to assure we were happy our whole stay...even let us check out late since we had a late night bus that night. They also gave us free water the whole time adn TP. Had a great Sunday carvery/brunch too!
