Place had lots of character, felt like staying above a country pub in England! Although above a bar, it was always quiet. Great location - on a quieter street but not far to walk to the bars, markets…
Overview
Located within the city walls of historic old town Chiang Mai, the Queen Victoria Inn is a bar/restaurant and guest-house, which offers great value food, drink and accommodation in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Naturally we're biased, but we genuinely believe that our 7 superbly appointed rooms offer some of the best value-for-money accommodation in Chiang Mai. All rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fan, hot-water shower, balcony, TV and DVD player. Room prices range from only 650 to 800 Baht per night. We also offer special deals on long-stays; just contact us for a quote.
The Queen Victoria provides free Internet use for our customers and free wi-fi is also available throughout the premises should you wish to use your own laptop or notebook. For sports lovers, we have an 8-foot pool table upstairs which is free to use. Our large screen plasma TV shows live sports from around the world including English Premiership football.
We offer a wide range of Thai and Western dishes from our menu in addition to the daily specials. From breakfast fry-ups to traditional Thai Green Curry, we have something to tempt all taste-buds. Our range of local beers includes Singha, Chang, Leo and Tiger but also Heineken. We also serve tea, coffee, fruit juice and shakes.
