Liked: riverside location

Disliked: The staff were 'hard Sell' on their restaurant , claiming all restaurants in town were the same price so better to eat in the hotel.....They werent! Every other restaurant in town was cheaper than this hotels restaurant. tacky salesmanship! Shame really

Liked: Clean rooms with view on the Mekong rather close to immigration office. Restaurant with reasonable prices.

Disliked: Room and bathrooms on the small side. Exposure to noise from the temple (morning gong at 6 am).

Liked: I was over whelmed by the splendedness of this hotel. It is located on the riverside of Mekong and each room has balcony from which you can enjoy relaxing, watching the majestic stream of Mekong from the balcony of your room. I stayed at the balcony for long time. It was so relaxing that I even fell asleep there. There are lots of tropical plants in the balcony, hallway, many other places in the hotel and it made the atomosphere very fancy and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was wonderfull. At the restaurant you can ejoy breakfast, watching the morning sun over the Mekong. Since this hotel is new, it was very clean and comfortable. It was a pity that I stayed here only one night. I wanted to stay there for 10 days. This is not a cheep place to stay, but I bet it is worth paying to stay this hotel!!

Liked: beautifull building, very clean rooms with terraces viewing on the Mekong, they arranged my visa + pick-up at the hotel to cross the border to Laos the next day after my arrival, nice restaurant

Liked: Cheapest place we stayed at in Thailand, yet still came with hot showers and the most comfortable beds so far.

Liked: This is a great family run hostel. They were very friendly and also offered to arrange tours, travel arrangements, VISAS etc without you feeling pressured into buying it off them. They really did make our stay there great. The rooms were very clean and resaonably priced too. I would definately stay here again!!!!!!!
